Our client, a leading Saudi Arabian healthcare organisation, is currently seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to lead the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies. This role will play an important part in developing strategic communication plans, managing media and public relations activities, and ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels. The successful candidate will also support reputation management, optimise digital content, and provide guidance to junior communications professionals.

What You'll Do:

• Develop communication strategies and plans for specific projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Support leadership in aligning communication plans with departmental objectives and wider organisational priorities.
• Contribute to crisis communication and reputation management initiatives.
• Execute internal and external communication plans, including content creation, media relations, and public relations activities.
• Oversee the development of high-quality communication materials for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and adherence to SEO best practices.
• Ensure digital content is optimised for search engine visibility, supporting the organisation's online presence and engagement.
• Monitor and report on the performance of communication initiatives, recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness.
• Mentor junior communications professionals and provide guidance on the delivery of communication activities.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Technical writing certifications are required.
• A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

You will bring:

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in communications, with a strong background working with communications agencies and healthcare clients.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to develop and deliver strategic communication plans.
• Expertise in media relations and external communications.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills, with an understanding of SEO best practices.
• The ability to mentor colleagues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments.
• Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
