The company plays a pivotal role in the development of the Saudi airports sector. The company manages and operates airports, including domestic and international airports. The company aims to build an advanced network of airports that supports tourism and enhances services quality and operational efficiency to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 by developing airports and enhancing the investment opportunities.

Job Purpose

Ensure the strategic alignment and compliance of Information Technology (IT) initiatives with the company’s objectives by regularly reviewing technological developments and market trends, enhancing existing strategies, implementing effective governance practices, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

1. Regularly review technological advancements, market trends, and relevant industry developments to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing IT strategies and initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement and development.
3. Ensure that all IT initiatives are strategically aligned with the company’s objectives and priorities.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across all IT operations.
5. Ensure effective implementation of and adherence to IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive IT strategy, establish clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive innovative digital initiatives that support business growth and operational efficiency.
7. Develop and maintain guidelines and documentation outlining the implementation processes and activities of IT initiatives across the company.
8. Monitor progress against established milestones for IT projects and initiatives to ensure timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
9. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
10. Conduct comprehensive assessments of IT initiatives to evaluate their performance and impact against established key performance indicators (KPIs).
11. Evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, and recommend improvements as needed.
12. Communicate IT strategies, priorities, and progress effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
13. Ensure that IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures are clearly communicated to relevant teams to promote understanding and compliance.
14. Oversee IT systems, infrastructure, and operations to proactively identify and address potential issues or security vulnerabilities.

Managerial Responsibilities

Employee Development

1. Oversee the development of direct reports, establish performance objectives, identify training needs, and evaluate training outcomes.
2. Guide and support direct reports in achieving their objectives and performing assigned responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

Policies, Procedures, and Reporting

1. Ensure the implementation of established policies and procedures across activities and operations related to the development of IT strategies and procedures.
2. Contribute to the preparation of progress reports on IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives, as required, to support improvements in IT strategy and digital transformation performance.
3. Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to monitor business progress, discuss challenges, review recommendations, and take appropriate corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Professional Certifications

Years of Experience

7-10 years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in both English and Arabic.
