ServiceNow UI/UX Developer

Experience: 8-10+ Years

Salt is partnering with a leading global technology consultancy seeking an experienced ServiceNow UI/UX Developer to deliver modern, intuitive and highly customised user experiences across the ServiceNow platform.

This position requires a combination of strong hands-on ServiceNow development expertise, UI/UX design capabilities and the ability to work directly with enterprise customers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex business requirements, user journeys and corporate branding into scalable, user-friendly ServiceNow experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and customise user interfaces using ServiceNow UI Builder and Now Experience UI Framework.
• Build and maintain custom pages, widgets and reusable components within ServiceNow Service Portal.
• Develop and enhance Employee Center and Employee Center Pro experiences.
• Translate wireframes, Figma designs and customer branding guidelines into functional ServiceNow interfaces.
• Deliver responsive, accessible and cross-browser-compatible user experiences.
• Develop integration-driven interfaces using REST APIs.
• Collaborate closely with ServiceNow Architects, UX designers, business analysts and customer stakeholders.
• Ensure development follows ServiceNow best practices for performance, maintainability and upgradeability.
• Support UI testing, troubleshooting and continuous platform improvements.

Essential Requirements

• 8-10+ years of relevant technology experience, including significant hands-on ServiceNow UI/UX development.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow UI Builder and Now Experience UI Framework.
• Extensive ServiceNow Service Portal development experience.
• Hands-on Employee Center / Employee Center Pro experience.
• Advanced JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and SCSS.
• Experience developing responsive and reusable UI components.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, wireframing, prototyping and interaction design.
• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration-driven UI experiences.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing capabilities.

Desirable Experience

• ServiceNow Configurable Workspaces.
• Experience across ITSM, CSM, HRSD or ITOM.
• Enterprise design systems and component libraries.
• Large-scale enterprise ServiceNow transformation programmes.
