Elite Auto Distribution is a growing automotive company operating in vehicle sales and aftersales services in Saudi Arabia. As we expand our business, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen our finance team and support accurate reporting, financial control, and efficient daily operations.

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, maintain reliable financial records, and prepare timely financial reports. The role covers retail, fleet, and sub-dealer transactions, vehicle inventory, and service and spare parts operations.

Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities

·       Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.

·       Complete monthly and annual closing activities and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.

·       Prepare profit and loss reports by branch and business activity, with analysis of margins, expenses, and budget variances.

·       Reconcile bank accounts, customer and supplier balances, intercompany accounts, and vehicle inventory records.

·       Monitor receivables, customer credit limits, overdue balances, and collections across retail, fleet, and sub-dealer channels.

·       Verify vehicle purchase costs, sales invoices, discounts, commissions, OEM incentives, and gross profit by vehicle and sales channel.

·       Reconcile vehicle inventory by VIN and monitor stock ageing, demonstrators, and courtesy vehicles.

·       Review service and spare parts revenue, costs, inventory movements, and related reconciliations.

·       Prepare payment schedules, cash flow forecasts, and working capital reports.

·       Prepare VAT returns and supporting schedules, support ZATCA compliance and e-invoicing requirements, and coordinate with tax advisers as needed.

·       Maintain the fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and supporting documentation.

·       Support budgeting, external audits, and the improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls.

·       Work closely with sales, aftersales, procurement, and administration to resolve discrepancies and maintain complete documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

·       Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including experience in a senior accounting role.

·       Automotive dealership experience.

·       Practical knowledge of Saudi accounting practices, IFRS, VAT, and ZATCA requirements.

·       Experience with ERP systems and dealership management systems (DMS).

·       Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial analysis capabilities.

·       Professional qualifications such as SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA are an advantage.

·       Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.

·       Good communication skills in English& Arabic.
