SAP Solutions & Enterprise Architecture Director is required by out multi award winning global technology partner to work as part of the Presales / Solutioning / Enterprise & SAP Architecture Leadership team

Role purpose

Be the accountable solution leader and design authority for strategic SAP opportunities in KSA. Translate client outcomes into differentiated, secure, compliant, priced and deliverable solutions across the SAP portfolio, while building reusable sector assets and architecture capability.

Director-level accountabilities

• Own end-to-end solution integrity for assigned strategic pursuits, from discovery and target architecture through estimates, transition, delivery model and contractual solution commitments.
• Act as the KSA SAP design authority within the relevant architecture governance; obtain required security, data, AI, quality and architecture approvals.
• Lead client discovery, value articulation, executive workshops, demos and solution defences, connecting business architecture to SAP, data, integration, cloud, AI and run services.
• Direct multi-disciplinary solution teams across KSA, India, Egypt and other entities; define work packages, quality gates and review cadence.
• Own the solution baseline, assumptions, dependencies, effort model and cost basis; independently challenge scope, risk, feasibility and price with Sales and Delivery.
• Develop sector-led reference architectures, accelerators and packaged propositions for enterprise and mid-market segments, with clear reuse and IP controls.
• Contribute evidence-based input to qualification; decline or escalate solutions that are not viable, compliant or deliverable.
• Build the architecture and presales community through hiring, mentoring, certification and succession planning.
• Maintain currency on SAP S/4HANA RISE/GROW, Business Data Cloud, BTP, AI, clean-core and KSA regulatory/localisation requirements.

Experience and leadership requirements

• Director-level experience as lead architect or solution executive for large SAP transformations, including complex bids and executive solution defence.
• Deep S/4HANA architecture expertise across RISE and cloud deployment models, with broad SAP, integration, data, security and AI understanding.
• Proven accountability for solution assurance, estimating, global delivery design and the translation of architecture into contractual scope.
• Ability to govern multiple specialist teams, resolve design trade-offs and communicate business value and risk to C-suite stakeholders.
• Knowledge of KSA localisation and regulatory needs, including ZATCA where applicable.
• People leadership and capability-building experience.
• Relevant SAP/architecture certification strongly preferred. Fluent English; Arabic is desirable.

Success measures

• Bid win rate and executive/client solution feedback.
• Solution-assurance compliance and first-time approval at governance gates.
• Estimate accuracy and variance between sold and delivered effort.
• Proposal turnaround, solution quality and reduction of material delivery defects attributable to design.
• Adoption and value of reusable assets; capability and succession strength.
