المهام والمسؤوليات
- حل المشكلات المعقدة المرتبطة بطرق الحفظ والتغليف ووضع العلامات.
- تثبيت وتدعيم مجموعة متنوعة من المعدات والإمدادات العسكرية.
- دراسة وتحليل برنامج الحفظ والتغليف والتعبئة لضمان فعاليته.
- تطبيق التغييرات على طرق التغليف ومتطلباته وإجراءاته.
- وضع إجراءات التشغيل المعيارية للتغليف ليتبعها الموظفون.
- التأكد من تزويد الموظفين بالتحديثات والتغييرات على لوائح التغليف، بما في ذلك متطلبات تغليف المواد الخطرة.
- مراجعة مخالفات التغليف والتوصية بالإجراءات التصحيحية المناسبة.
- التوصية بطرق الحفظ عند عدم توفر الإرشادات بسهولة من الأنظمة المعلوماتية.
- البحث في البيانات الفنية والأدائية والبيئية والتكلفة الخاصة بمواد التغليف.
- قراءة المواصفات والصور عند الحاجة وفقاً لعقد DLA.
- تطبيق سياسات الإدارة ومبادئها وممارساتها لتطبيق الإرشادات الخاصة بالتغليف وتفسيرها وتنفيذها.
- تحليل البيانات المتنوعة وغير الواضحة في أغلب الأحيان لتحديد الاتجاهات وحل المشكلات والتوصية بمسار العمل.
- متابعة التطورات الجديدة المتعلقة بمجالات المسؤولية وتقييمها لضمان كفاءة التخطيط والمناهج والنتائج والقرارات في عملية التغليف والحفظ.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- شهادة الثانوية العامة أو ما يعادلها (GED).
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنة في مناولة المواد أو التوريد أو التوزيع أو الفحص أو المجالات ذات الصلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنة في استخدام أدوات ورش النجارة أو تصنيع الحاويات أو إنشاء الهياكل الخشبية أو الحفظ والتعبئة والتغليف.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنة في قراءة المخططات الهندسية والقياس في التصنيع.
- خبرة في تحديد أنواع المواد المستخدمة في تصنيع الحاويات الخشبية.
- أن يكون مواطناً سعودياً، وملماً بأنظمة السلامة المحلية والإجراءات الحكومية في المملكة العربية السعودية.
- الحصول على تدريب رسمي في الجوانب الفنية والمعتمدة لتغليف وشحن المواد الخطرة كل سنتين.
- القدرة على أداء المهام البدنية المطلوبة، ومنها الوقوف والمشي والجلوس واستخدام اليدين والأصابع ورفع الأشياء أو تحريكها حتى 50 رطلاً بشكل متقطع، والصعود على الدرج والانحناء والركوع.
- استمرار التوظيف مرهون بتحقق اللياقة للعمل من الهيئة العامة لتنظيم سوق العمل (LMRA) عبر إجراء الفحص الطبي في المستشفيات المعتمدة لديها.
المهارات المطلوبة
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية مع مهارات تواصل قوية.
- المهارة في تشغيل معدات مناولة المواد مثل الرافعات الشوكية والجرارات وأدوات اختيار المخزون والمعدات العامة الأخرى لنقل الأصناف من وإلى أماكن التخزين.
- إجادة برامج Microsoft Office، ومنها Word وExcel وAccess وOutlook.
- المعرفة بالأنظمة الآلية مثل DSS وHMIRS وFEDLOG وFLOS وJHCS وغيرها.
- حسن الاتجاه والقدرة على العمل ضمن فريق.
- القدرة على العمل بفعالية مع الحد الأدنى من الإشراف.
- القدرة على تعدد المهام بكفاءة والعمل في بيئة سريعة الإيقاع على مشاريع متعددة، مع دقة عالية في التفاصيل.

The Shipper / Packer provides technical guidance to employees on the interpretation, application and modification of preservation, packaging and packing matters, to include processing criteria, procedures and techniques. A high level of English proficiency is essential for this role.
Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
- Resolves complex problems connected with preservation, packaging, and marking methods.
- Blocks and braces a wide variety of military equipment and supplies.
- Studies and analyzes the preservation, packaging, and packing program to assure program effectiveness.
- Implement changes in packaging methods, requirement and procedures.
- Establishes packaging standard operating procedures for the employees to follow.
- Ensures that employees are provided updates and changes to packaging regulations to include hazardous packaging requirements.
- Reviews packaging discrepancies and recommend ds appropriate corrective actions.
- Recommends methods of preservation when guidance is not readily available from data systems.
- Researches technical, performance, environmental and cost data on packing materials.
- Read specifications and photographs as/if required in DLA contract.
- Formal training of technical/certifiable aspects of packing and shipping hazardous material is required every two years.
- Utilizes management policy, principles and practices in order to apply, interpret and implement packaging guidelines.
- Knowledge of automated systems (e.g. DSS, HMIRS, FEDLOG, FLOS, JHCS, etc.).
- Applies conventional fact-finding, analytical and problem solving methods and techniques to identify packing problems.
- Analyze diverse and often vague data to determine trends, solve problems and recommend a course of action.
- Keep abreast of and evaluate new developments pertaining to areas of responsibility to ensure that planning, approaches, findings and decisions will result in an efficient packaging/preservation process.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one (1) year specific experience in material handling, supply, distribution, inspection, or related areas.
- One year using woodshop tools, fabricating containers, framing construction, or preservation, packing, and packaging.
- One year specific experience demonstrating ability to read blueprints, measure fabrication.
- Experience identifying various materials for construction of wood containers.
- Saudi national, familiar with local safety regulations and government procedures in Saudi Arabia.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
- Skill in operating materials handling equipment such as forklifts, tugs, stock selectors and other general purpose equipment to move items to or from storage locations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook software.
- Demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently, works in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and has a strong attention for detail.
