شركة International Maritime Industries تعلن عن وظيفة المدير العام لمشاريع البناء الجديدة (General Manager, New Build Projects) في رأس الخير، المنطقة الشرقية، السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تطوير وتنفيذ خطط وجداول المشاريع لتحقيق المواعيد النهائية ومتطلبات العملاء.
  • التنسيق مع الأقسام الأخرى (الهندسة، المشتريات، ضمان الجودة) لضمان سلاسة تدفق الإنتاج.
  • مراقبة وتتبع تقدم المشروع لتحديد الاختناقات أو التأخيرات المحتملة واتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة لتخفيفها.
  • تخصيص الموارد (القوى العاملة، المعدات، المواد) بكفاءة لتحسين إنتاجية الإنتاج.
  • التعاون مع فريق المشتريات لضمان توفر المواد والمعدات اللازمة لأنشطة الإنتاج.
  • إجراء تقييمات دورية للاحتياجات من الموارد وتقديم توصيات للتحسين أو التعديل.
  • تطبيق إجراءات مراقبة الجودة لضمان الالتزام بمواصفات المنتج والمعايير الصناعية.
  • التعاون مع فريق ضمان الجودة لتطوير وصيانة إجراءات وإرشادات الجودة.
  • إجراء عمليات تفتيش ومراجعة دورية لمراقبة جودة الإنتاج ومعالجة أي عدم مطابقة فوراً.
  • قيادة وتحفيز والتواصل مع الأقسام القانونية والتجارية وتطوير الأعمال والإنتاج والعقود والموردين والمقاولين من الباطن.
  • توفير التوجيه والدعم لفريق المشروع والإنتاج، بما في ذلك التدريب والتوجيه وتقييم الأداء.
  • التنسيق مع فريق المشروع والإنتاج لوضع استراتيجية المشروع والمشاركة في جميع مفاوضات العقود.
  • تحديد احتياجات التدريب والتطوير داخل الفريق وتنفيذ المبادرات المناسبة لتعزيز المهارات والمعرفة.
  • ضمان الامتثال لجميع لوائح وسياسات الصحة والسلامة في منطقة الإنتاج.

  • التعاون مع الأقسام الأخرى لتطبيق أفضل الممارسات وتبني تقنيات أو منهجيات جديدة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة أو ما يعادلها.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 20 عاماً في صناعة البناء البحري (offshore building industry) بما في ذلك مشاريع بناء جديدة للحفارات (jack up rig) وصنادل المناقصات (tender barge)، على أن تشمل 5 سنوات في منصب إداري.
  • شغل مناصب مماثلة سابقاً في أحواض بناء سفن عالمية راسخة.
  • سجل قوي في إدارة المشاريع والخبرة القيادية، ويفضل من صناعة النفط والغاز البحرية.
  • إجادة ممتازة للغة الإنجليزية كتابة وتحدثاً (شرط أساسي).

Description

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

The General Manager of New Build Projects at IMI Shipyard is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of all projects within the shipyard (Zone D2). This includes interfacing with the GM Production and production team, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and achieving project targets. The General Manager will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and delivering high-quality products and reporting to VP NBR (Zone D2).

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor and track project progress to identify potential bottlenecks or delays and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
  • Allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, effectively to optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of required materials and equipment for production activities.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resource needs and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments as necessary.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure adherence to product specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and maintain quality procedures and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor production quality and address any non-conformities promptly.
  • Lead, motivate, and interface with legal, commercial, business development, production, contract, vendors, subcontractor.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project and production team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and coordinate with project team and production team to create project strategy and participate in all contract negotiations.
  • Identify training and development needs within the team and implement appropriate initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies within the production area.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a safety-conscious culture among staff.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance project and share production efficiency.
  • Encourage and facilitate innovation and creativity among the production team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement best practices and adopt new technologies or methodologies.


Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent.


Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)

  • Professional Project Management Qualifications (i.e.PMP) preferred.
  • Marine related professional qualifications or relevant time served.

Requirements

Experience

  • At least 20
  • years of experience in offshore building industry including jack up rig / tender barge new build projects, 5 years of which must be in managerial capacity.
  • Held similar positions before in established global shipyards.
  • Strong track record relevant to project management and leadership experience, preferably from the oil and gas offshore industry.


Languages

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential.
  • Fluency in Arabic is beneficial.
