We are currently looking to hire an UC Infrastructure Engineer (IVR Integration)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Unified Communications (UC) engineer to design, implement, and optimize a reliable voice and collaboration infrastructure with IVR-enabled solutions. This is an infrastructure and integration role, not an application development role. You will connect IVR systems with voice and collaboration platforms and make sure calls are routed, secured, and performing well.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design and implementation of the UC environment, with a focus on IVR-enabled solutions
• Manage end-to-end integration of IVR with voice and collaboration platforms
• Configure call flows, gateways, SBCs, and session management
• Optimize the UC infrastructure for performance, redundancy, and disaster recovery
• Run interoperability testing with endpoints and IVR applications
• Troubleshoot UC and IVR performance issues and improve call flows
• Monitor system health and performance, and report on it
• Support deployment and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

What you need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Unified Communications and telephony systems
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UC platform: Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or WebEx
• Proven experience implementing and supporting IVR-enabled UC solutions
• Strong working knowledge of SIP, RTP, SBCs, gateways, PBX, and call routing
• Experience with voice network design, QoS, redundancy, and disaster recovery
• Understanding of integration with CRM, customer databases (e.g., C2M), and contact center applications
• Familiarity with VoIP protocols, telecom standards, and security best practices
• Experience with monitoring, reporting, and performance management tools

Good to have

• Certifications such as Cisco CCIE Collaboration, Avaya ACIS, Microsoft Teams/Skype for Business, or Genesys Certified Professional
• Experience in a contact center, telecom, or utility environment
