نبذة عن الوظيفة
يتولى مهندس الموثوقية الكهربائية مسؤولية قيادة المبادرات التي تعزز موثوقية الأصول الكهربائية في المصنع وتوفرها وقابليتها للصيانة. يقود هذا الدور تطبيق أفضل ممارسات الموثوقية ويدعم التحسين المستمر من خلال تقييم واعتماد التقنيات الجديدة والحلول المبتكرة. يجب أن يركز المهندس بشكل كبير على محركات التردد المتغير (VFDs) والمفاتيح الكهربائية والمحولات ومرحلات الحماية، لضمان الأداء الأمثل وسلامة الأصول على المدى الطويل.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- خبير ذو معرفة قوية جداً في حماية أنظمة الطاقة بما في ذلك التصميم والحساب والتكوين والاختبار.
- خبرة عملية في برنامج ETAP لأنظمة الطاقة بما في ذلك تصميم وحساب تدفق الأحمال والتيار القصير وتحليل ARC Flash و ETAP STAR.
- خبرة عالية في محركات التردد المتغير (VFDs) من مختلف الشركات المصنعة، خاصة ABB (سلسلة ACS800، ACS880 و ACS6000) و Siemens.
- خبرة في تصميم وحساب وصيانة المحولات الكهربائية مع خبرة ممتازة في تحليل DGA للمحولات.
- خبرة في صيانة المفاتيح الكهربائية ذات الجهد المنخفض (LV) وخاصة ABB MNS مع قواطع ABB EMAX1.
- خبرة في صيانة وتحليل موثوقية المفاتيح الكهربائية ذات الجهد المتوسط (MV) والعالي (HV) مع معرفة واسعة بالصيانة الوقائية المطلوبة لكل نوع.
- معرفة قوية في تحليل التفريغ الجزئي (Partial Discharge) في محركات الجهد المتوسط والمحولات والمفاتيح الكهربائية.
- معرفة قوية في منهجيات مراقبة الحالة الكهربائية بما في ذلك التصوير الحراري والموجات فوق الصوتية.
- تحليل الصور الحرارية باستخدام برنامج FLIR لتحديد حالة الأصول.
- معرفة قوية بممارسات صيانة UPS وشواحن البطاريات.
- معرفة قوية في المحركات المتزامنة والمولدات وفهم الفرق بين الأنواع ذات الفرشاة وبدون فرشاة للآلات المتزامنة.
- معرفة ممتازة في منهجيات ومبادئ هندسة الموثوقية مثل تحليل RCM و FMEA.
- متمكن في قراءة وفهم المخططات الكهربائية مثل المخططات أحادية الخط (Single Line Diagrams) والمخططات التخطيطية للحماية والإلكترونيات.
- معرفة أساسية في الحماية الكاثودية (Cathodic Protection).
- معرفة قوية بتصنيف المناطق الخطرة والتركيبات الكهربائية في الأجواء شديدة الانفجار.
- معرفة جيدة بنظام SAP و MERIDIUM APM.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 12 عاماً في الهندسة الكهربائية في قطاعي البتروكيماويات والنفط والغاز.
المهارات المطلوبة
- معرفة قوية بمرحلات الحماية وبرنامج ETAP.
- خبرة واسعة في محركات التردد المتغير (VFDs) والمفاتيح الكهربائية والمحركات والمحولات وأنظمة UPS وشواحن البطاريات.
- مهارات قوية في التفكير النقدي والتحليل وحل المشكلات.

Job Purpose
The Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of the plant’s electrical assets. This role leads the implementation of reliability best practices and supports continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new technologies and innovative solutions. The engineer must have a strong focus on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), switchgear, transformers, and protection relays, ensuring optimal performance and long-term asset integrity.

Job Purpose
The Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of the plant’s electrical assets. This role leads the implementation of reliability best practices and supports continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting new technologies and innovative solutions. The engineer must have a strong focus on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), switchgear, transformers, and protection relays, ensuring optimal performance and long-term asset integrity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Expert with very strong knowledge on power system protection including design, calculation, configuration & testing.
- Hand-on experience on the ETAP power system software including the design and calculation of load flow, short circuit, ARC flash analysis and ETAP STAR.
- Highly experienced in the variable frequency drives from different manufacturers, especially ABB (ACS800, ACS880 & ACS6000 series) & Siemens.
- Experienced in power transformers design, calculation & maintenance with excellent experience in transformers DGA analysis.
- Experienced in LV switchgears maintenance specially ABB MNS with ABB EMAX1 circuit breakers.
- Experienced in MV & HV switchgears maintenance and reliability analysis with greater knowledge in the preventive maintenance required for each type.
- Strong knowledge in partial discharge analysis in MV Motors, Transformers & Switchgears.
- Have strong knowledge in electrical condition monitoring methodologies including thermography & ultrasound.
- Analyze thermal image using FLIR software to identify the condition of the assets.
- Strong knowledge in UPS & Battery Chargers maintenance practice.
- Strong knowledge in synchronous motors and generators & understanding the difference between brush and brushless types of synchronous machines.
- Have excellent knowledge in reliability engineering methodologies and principles like RCM & FMEA analysis.
- Excellent in reading & understanding electrical drawings like single line diagrams, protection schematic & electronic schematic.
- Should have a basis knowledge in the cathodic protection.
- Stronger knowledge of the hazardous area classification and electrical installation in the high explosive atmospheres.
- Good knowledge of SAP system & MERIDIUM APM.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years’ electrical engineering in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of protection relays and ETAP software
- Extensive experience with VFDs, switchgear, motors, transformers, UPS systems,
- and battery chargers
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
