Job Title: Procurement EngineerJob Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a fresh graduate or has 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related engineering field. The Procurement Engineer will support the procurement process by sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing engineering materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, quality, delivery time, and technical compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Maintain procurement records and prepare procurement reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduate or 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related engineering field.
• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
