فقيه للرعاية الصحية تعلن عن وظيفة أخصائي مكافحة العدوى في منطقة الرياض.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الحفاظ على تواصل وثيق مع جميع أعضاء فرق الرعاية الصحية في المناطق المحددة من خلال الاجتماعات والنقاشات غير الرسمية لضمان استمرارية وفعالية البرنامج.
  • المساعدة في بدء تطبيق الاحتياطات وتقديم المشورة بشأن إجراءات العزل المطبقة على الأمراض المعدية داخل منشأة فقيه للرعاية الصحية.
  • المساعدة في المراقبة اليومية لجميع المرضى في الوحدات المحددة لتحديد حالات العدوى المرتبطة بالرعاية الصحية بناءً على الإرشادات المعتمدة والمعايير المحددة، وإعداد تقارير دورية وعرضها في اللجان والمنتديات ذات الصلة.
  • جمع التقارير الميكروبيولوجية من المختبر والتقارير الأخرى ذات الصلة بأنشطة مكافحة العدوى والوقاية منها بشكل يومي.
  • المساعدة في التحقيقات الوبائية أثناء تفشي الأمراض والتجمعات العدوى وحوادث التعرض عبر منشأة فقيه للرعاية الصحية، والعمل على بدء إجراءات السيطرة بالتعاون مع فريق مكافحة العدوى والجهات المعنية.
  • المساعدة في تثقيف الموظفين والطلاب والمرضى وأقاربهم والزوار حول مختلف جوانب مكافحة العدوى والوقاية منها.
  • المساعدة في مراقبة امتثال الموظفين لممارسات مكافحة العدوى من خلال التدقيق.
  • تحديد المشكلات والمخاطر المتعلقة بمكافحة العدوى والتشاور مع فريق مكافحة العدوى لحلها.
  • العمل كمرجع في المشكلات المتعلقة بالعدوى، واكتشاف أدلة العدوى المتبادلة، والمساعدة في تطوير تحسين مكافحة العدوى.
  • المساعدة في توثيق والإبلاغ عن الأمراض التي يجب الإبلاغ عنها للجهات الصحية.
  • إجراء تقييم دوري لبيئة منشأة فقيه للرعاية الصحية لتقييم الامتثال لمبادئ مكافحة العدوى في مجالات: تنظيف الأسطح البيئية وتعقيمها، فحص جودة المياه ومراقبة نتائج مزارع المياه، مراقبة جودة الهواء (مثل تدرج الضغط، ودورات الهواء، ودرجة الحرارة والرطوبة في غرف الضغط الإيجابي والسلبي)، إجراء مزارع فطرية بعد أعمال البناء في المناطق عالية الخطورة مثل غرف العمليات.
  • المساعدة في مراجعة النظافة البيئية في المناطق المحددة بما في ذلك إجراءات وجداول التنظيف والمواد المستخدمة.
  • المساعدة في مراقبة تنفيذ برنامج إدارة النفايات الصحية.
  • المساعدة في الإشراف على رعاية العيادات الخارجية والرعاية المنزلية من خلال تطوير وتنفيذ السياسات والإجراءات، وتدريب الموظفين على التنفيذ السليم للبرنامج، وتتبع وتحليل بيانات مكافحة العدوى، وتقييم تعرض الموظفين والمتابعة.
  • المسؤولية عن ترتيب وتنظيم اجتماعات لجنة مكافحة العدوى بما في ذلك إعداد جدول الأعمال والتقارير والمحاضر، والعمل كعضو في لجان أخرى حسب تكليف الرؤساء.
  • المشاركة في تدريبات الحريق والكوارث (الداخلية والخارجية).
  • أداء مهام أخرى حسب نطاق المسؤولية ومتطلبات الوظيفة.
  • أداء جميع المهام بطريقة تدعم قيم الرعاية المتمحورة حول الشخص في فقيه، والمساهمة بنشاط في مبادرات التحسين المستمر، والالتزام ببروتوكولات السلامة، والحفاظ على سرية المعلومات، والامتثال لسياسات الأمن السيبراني، والالتزام بمدونة قواعد السلوك والمعايير الأخلاقية، وإكمال التعليم الإلزامي حسب المتطلبات.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • خريج من مدرسة تمريض مهنية.
  • خبرة سريرية لمدة 3 سنوات في التمريض في مستشفى حاد أو تعليمي، مع قاعدة معرفية قوية في الوقاية من العدوى ومكافحتها (يفضل خبرة في مكافحة العدوى).
  • إجادة ممتازة للغة الإنجليزية كتابةً وتحدثًا (يفضل العربية).
  • رخصة تمريض مسجلة سارية من بلد المنشأ مطلوبة، بالإضافة إلى ترخيص مزاولة المهنة من الهيئة التنظيمية الصحية الإقليمية (مثل الهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية / هيئة الصحة بدبي).
  • شهادة في مكافحة العدوى (CIC) مفضلة.
  • إجادة استخدام مايكروسوفت أوفيس.

Description

Job Purpose:

Assists in daily supervision of Infection Control Program to ensure that practices continue to prevent and minimize spread of infection across the facility.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Maintains close communication with all members of healthcare teams in areas assigned, through meetings and informal discussions to ensure that the program is continuous and proactive.
  • Assists in initiating precautions and advises concerning precautions and isolation measures applied on any transmissible diseases within the Fakeeh Care entity.
  • Assists in daily surveillance of all patients in assigned units to identify health care-associated infections based on established guidelines and approved definitions and criteria. Prepares periodic reports related to healthcare associated infections and presents in relevant committees and forums.
  • On daily basis, collects microbiological reports from the laboratory and other pertinent reports related to infection prevention and control surveillance activities.
  • Assists in epidemiological investigation during outbreaks, clusters of infection, and exposure incidents across Fakeeh Care entity and helps initiate control measures in collaboration with Infection Control Team and concerned personnel and/or units.
  • Assists in the staff, students, patient/relatives and visitors education concerning various aspects in infection control and prevention.
  • Helps monitor staffs compliance with infection control practices through audit.
  • Identifies problems and risks related to infection control and consults with the Infection Control Team for resolutions.
  • Serves as resource person in infection-related problems, detects evidence of cross infection and assists in the development of improved infection control.
  • Assists in the documentation and reporting of diseases that are ‘reportable” to health authorities.
  • Conducts periodic assessment of the Fakeeh Care entity environment to evaluate conformity with IC principles include:
  • Proper environmental surfaces cleaning and disinfection.
  • Water quality testing; Monitors the results of water cultures as indicated.
  • Monitors air quality measures including (Pressure gradient, air cycles, temperature and humidity of all positive and negative pressure rooms.
  • Conducts fungal cultures post construction involving high-risk areas eg, operating theaters.
  • Assists in the review of environmental cleanliness in areas assigned including cleaning procedures, schedules, and agents used.
  • Assists in monitoring implementation of healthcare waste program.
  • Assists in overseeing the ambulatory cares and home care organization:
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Education of staff on proper program implementation, operation, tracking and trending infection control data.
  • Evaluation of employee exposures and follow-up.
  • Responsible for arranging and organizing infection control committee meetings including preparation of agenda, reports and minutes. Act as a member of other committees as assigned by seniors.
  • Participates in fire and disaster drills (internal and external).
  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities: Command of Microsoft office.

Experience: 3 years clinical nursing experience in an acute or teaching hospital and strong knowledge base in infection prevention and control. Experience in infection control preferred.

Education: Graduate of a professional school of nursing.

Language: Excellent command in oral and written English. Arabic preferred.

Licenses / Certifications: Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin required. License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA). Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
