المهام والمسؤوليات

تنفيذ أعمال الصيانة الوقائية والتنبؤية والتصحيحية والطارئة على المعدات الكهربائية المخصصة
إجراء الفحوصات الدورية وتحديد الحالات غير الطبيعية مثل ارتفاع الحرارة، الضوضاء غير العادية، الاهتزاز، تسرب الزيت، التوصيلات المرتخية، الكابلات التالفة، وتدهور العزل
أعمال التنظيف، الربط، التزييت عند الاقتضاء، استبدال الأجزاء التالفة، إنهاء الكابلات، أعمال الإصلاح البسيطة، واستعادة المعدات
تشخيص الأعطال الكهربائية، الإنذارات، حالات التعثر، وظروف التشغيل غير الطبيعية لدعم استعادة المعدات في الوقت المناسب وتقليل وقت التوقف

المساعدة في تركيب وتشغيل وتعديل وترقية الأنظمة والمعدات الكهربائية
دعم اختبار المعدات، التغذية بالتيار، الفحوصات الوظيفية، وأنشطة إعادة الخدمة
ضمان امتثال جميع أعمال التركيب والتعديل للمواصفات الفنية والرسومات المعتمدة ومتطلبات السلامة

العمل بشكل وثيق مع مهندسي الصيانة الكهربائية وموظفي التشغيل وفرق الميكانيكا والتحكم والمقاولين وممثلي الشركات المصنعة وغيرهم من موظفي الموقع
دعم عمليات التشغيل أثناء عزل المعدات وإطلاقها للصيانة والاختبار والتغذية بالتيار وإعادة الخدمة
المساعدة في تدريب الفنيين المبتدئين وأعضاء الفريق الجدد على ممارسات الصيانة الكهربائية ومتطلبات السلامة
دعم التحسين المستمر من خلال تحديد العيوب المتكررة ومشكلات الصيانة وفرص تحسين موثوقية المعدات

الشروط والمتطلبات

دبلوم كهرباء أو تخصص مكافئ
شهادة مهنية في الكهرباء (يفضل)
خبرة لا تقل عن 3 إلى 5 سنوات في الصيانة الكهربائية في محطة توليد كهرباء، ويفضل خبرة في محطات الدورة المركبة
الاستعداد للعمل أثناء فترات التوقف المخطط لها، والأعطال الطارئة، والمناوبات عند الطلب
الاستعداد للعمل في بيئات خارجية وصناعية
متطلبات بدنية مناسبة للوظيفة

Maintenance and Repair Activities
Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities on assigned electrical equipment
Carry out routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions such as overheating, unusual noise, vibration, oil leakage, loose connections, damaged cables, and insulation deterioration
Perform cleaning, tightening, lubrication where applicable, replacement of defective parts, cable termination, minor repair work, and equipment restoration activities
Troubleshoot electrical faults, alarms, trips, and abnormal operating conditions to support timely restoration of equipment and minimize plant downtime
Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with approved procedures, OEM manuals, drawings, safety requirements, and site standards
Verify the work area is clean, safe, and properly restored after completion of maintenance activities

v Support maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical equipment including, but not limited to:

Medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motors repaire, contactors, relays, and control panels
Generators, excitation systems, generator auxiliaries, and associated protection systems
Generator Circuit Breakers, Isolated Phase Busbars, Gas-Insulated Bus systems, and associated auxiliary equipment where assigned
Generator transformers, auxiliary transformers, and transformer auxiliary systems
MV and LV motors, motor-operated valves, soft starters, variable frequency drives, and local control stations
UPS systems, battery chargers, battery banks, DC distribution boards, emergency lighting, and diesel generator electrical systems
Cable systems, cable trays, junction boxes, earthing systems, and lightning protection systems
Electrical equipment associated with gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSG systems, water treatment systems, reverse osmosis plants, and balance-of-plant facilities
Testing, Inspection, and Troubleshooting
Use approved electrical test instruments, including multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers, continuity testers, earth resistance testers, and phase rotation meters
Carry out routine electrical testing such as voltage checks, current checks, insulation resistance testing, battery checks, and earth resistance testing
Assist with specialist testing activities such as relay testing, primary injection, secondary injection, breaker timing, contact resistance testing, transformer testing, thermography, and partial discharge testing where applicable
Record all test readings accurately and immediately report abnormal results to the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Assist in identifying root causes of equipment failures and support corrective actions as directed
Monitor equipment condition and report any developing defects or operational risks
Installation, Commissioning, and Modification Support
Assist with installation, commissioning, modification, and upgrading of electrical systems and equipment
Support equipment testing, energization, functional checks, and return-to-service activities
Ensure all installation and modification work complies with technical specifications, approved drawings, and safety requirements
Safety, Permit-to-Work, and Compliance
Follow all electrical safety rules, permit-to-work requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, grounding requirements, and arc-flash precautions
Verify that equipment is properly isolated, discharged, grounded, and tested before work starts
Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, safety observations, and incident investigations
Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, electrical hazards, near misses, and incidents
Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with applicable site procedures, OEM requirements, and environmental, health, and safety standards
Documentation and CMMS Support
Complete maintenance checklists, inspection sheets, test reports, work completion records, and defect reports accurately
Provide clear work feedback to the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, including work completed, materials used, defects found, and follow-up actions required
Prepare basic reports on maintenance tasks, equipment condition, and identified issues for review by the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Spare Parts, Tools, and Housekeeping
Check the availability of required spare parts, consumables, tools, and test instruments before starting work
Handle, store, and preserve electrical spare parts and materials in accordance with site preservation requirements
Maintain electrical hand tools, power tools, portable test instruments, and workshop equipment in good working condition
Report shortages of spare parts, consumables, and defective tools to the Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Support incoming inspection of electrical materials and spare parts in coordination with the Storekeeper when assigned
Coordination and Teamwork
Work closely with Electrical Maintenance Engineers, Operations personnel, Mechanical and I&C teams, contractors, OEM representatives, and other site personnel
Support Operations during equipment isolation, release for maintenance, testing, energization, and return to service
Assist in training junior technicians, and new team members in electrical maintenance practices and safety requirements
Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring defects, maintenance issues, and opportunities to improve equipment reliability

Requirements

Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of electrical systems used in combined cycle power plants
Knowledge of MV and LV switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, motors, motor control centers, contactors, relays, UPS systems, battery chargers, and DC systems
Understanding of generators, generator auxiliaries, power distribution systems, cable systems, earthing systems, and lighting systems
Familiarity with electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures
Understanding of electrical safety requirements, permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout procedures, grounding, hazardous-energy control, and arc-flash hazards
Awareness of electrical protection devices and their functions

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

Education

Electrical Diploma, or an equivalent discipline
Electrical trade certification is preferred

Experience

Minimum 3 to 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a power plant, Combined cycle power plant experience is preferred
