Role Purpose

Nutritionists work with their patients to help them reach a variety of goals, such as weight loss, healthier eating habits, and managing stress. This may involve equipping patients with tools for behavior modification and adjusting their dietary approach. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

1. Offer clinical nutrition services by visiting patient home. . 
2. Daily prepare medical bag to fulfil patient needs. 
3. Therapist must reach his visit according to his schedule time. 
4. Have responsibility to keep the equipment and tools sterilized before and after each session. 
5. Offer medical nutrition therapy and nutrition services along with patient’s medical and clinical goals. 
6. Offer elaborates nutritional status assessment by analyzing and synthesizing information. 
7. Review, interpret and monitor nutritional needs of patients through standard care and practice. 
8. Determine and offer age specific nutrition counseling to satisfy clinical and cultural needs of patients and their family members. 
9. Specify diet supplements order and enteral nutrition as per Dallah Health policy. 
10. Records subjective and objective information, assessment, and treatment plan, in the clinical notes including a discharge summary. 
11. Contribute to department’s continuing medical education program. 
12. Fully aware and actively implement the departmental policies and procedures, local and international standards or requirements related to the department. 
13. Paricipate in multidisciplinary team to devlop comprehensive and individualized care plan for each patients needs. 
14. Participate in home care Safety Management & Risk Management Programs. Actively reports incidents in the system and whenever needed, participates in incident review. 
15. Participate in patient and family education to help patients and families to better understand and participate in their care and make well informed care decisions. 
16. Performs any other duties within the range of his/her professional knowledge and skills as directed by the direct manager. 

Necessary Knowledge and Experience : 1-2 years of related experience.

Education and Certification Requirements : 

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. 
• Medical license as Clinical nutrition
