Role Description The Technician (Low Current) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam. This role involves installing, testing, and maintaining low current systems such as CCTV, access control, security systems, fire alarm systems, and related cabling and devices. The technician will read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams, support commissioning activities, and ensure all work complies with relevant standards and safety procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting system faults, performing preventive maintenance, documenting work performed, and coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and other site teams to ensure timely and accurate execution. The role may require working across multiple project sites, adhering to project schedules, and supporting end-to-end project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in low current systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, security systems, fire alarm and related control panels).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and low current drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Experience with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of field devices, control units, and networked systems.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical, fire protection, and safety standards, and adherence to safe work practices on-site.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts for IP-based systems, including cabling, terminations, and device configuration.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under supervision and meet project deadlines.
• Diploma or technical certificate in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or a related field; previous experience in low current or ELV systems in industrial or commercial projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site at multiple project locations in Dammam and, when required, other areas; familiarity with Saudi regulations and practices is beneficial.
