Tech Pipeline helps operations teams fix the broken middle of their business processes by focusing on technical realities instead of slide decks. We are looking for a Junior React Developer to help us support a project for a regional development client where we are rebuilding how data moves through their internal systems. This is a permanent, full-time role that is fully remote, allowing you to focus on concrete fixes from wherever you work best.
About the role
In this position, you will help bridge the gap between the tools our clients already own and the work they actually need to get done. Operations teams often struggle with data that is stuck in email chains or spreadsheets, leading to friction in their daily tasks. You will build and refine the React interfaces that these teams use to manage their backlogs and reconcile their data. The focus is not on high-level strategy, but on building functional tools that help operators see where their processes are stuck. You will work closely with our technical team to trace problems back to the source and ensure the frontend accurately reflects the source of truth in the system.
What you will be doing - Developing and maintaining React components for internal dashboards used by our client.
- Translating functional requirements into clean code for data entry and reconciliation tools.
- Debugging UI issues by reading browser logs and inspecting API responses.
- Updating frontend forms to reflect new routing rules and validation logic.
- Collaborating with backend developers to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- Writing clear documentation for every component you build to help with the eventual handover.
- Participating in code reviews to learn best practices and maintain consistent code quality.
- Testing new features to ensure they handle edge cases in financial and operational data.
What we need from you - Fundamental knowledge of React, including hooks and the component lifecycle.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS layout principles.
- A logical approach to troubleshooting broken UI elements and style inconsistencies.
- The ability to explain technical issues in plain English to both developers and operators.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working with complex data tables and forms.
- Curiosity about how business processes work under the hood.
- Persistence when untangling messy code or identifying why a specific routing rule is failing.
- Self-discipline to manage your tasks and deadlines in a fully remote environment.
Helpful background - Experience with personal or academic projects that involve fetching and displaying data from an API.
- Basic familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Exposure to utility-first CSS frameworks or basic state management libraries.
- Previous experience in a role that required heavy data entry or administrative operations.
What the role offers - Full-time, permanent employment with a focus on skill development.
- A fully remote workplace that respects your time and deep work.
- Competitive pay that is attractive for a junior developer in today's market.
- Hands-on experience solving real-world operational drag for a regional development client.
- Direct mentorship from technical leads who value ground truth over abstract frameworks.
- The opportunity to build tools that have a concrete effect on how an organization functions.
Working at Tech Pipeline
We avoid the typical corporate drag of long meetings and unnecessary slide decks. Our communication is grounded in documentation and weekly written updates that keep the team informed without breaking their focus. We value people who enjoy opening the system, reading the logs, and finding the specific integration gap that is causing a backlog. Our goal is always to fix the specific problem, stay through the first month of live operation to ensure the fix sticks, and then hand over a system that the client can run on their own. We stay close to the technical reality of how work moves, ensuring that every piece of code we write serves a clear operational purpose.
