About The Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a
Door Attendant to join the
Rooms Division team at
Jumeirah The Red Sea.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Greet all guests entering and leaving the hotel entrance, using appropriate salutations to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Open the car door for all guests arriving or leaving from the main entrance, greeting them with a warm smile and welcoming them on arrival and departure.
- Coordinate with bell attendants to ensure luggage and parcels are removed from vehicles of arriving guests and arrange for their delivery to guest rooms.
- Handle the safe storage of luggage in the storeroom, ensuring it is always kept clean and tidy.
- Hail taxis for guests using the designated taxi company, open taxi doors, and help guests to be seated, providing appropriate assistance as required.
- Receive incoming packages, letters, and documents for guests, record their acceptance, and arrange timely delivery to the recipients.
About You
- Leverage at least 1 year of hospitality experience to effectively communicate and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, Valet) to ensure smooth daily operations and guest service alignment.
- Coordinate with teams to address guest needs, support service delivery, and maintain consistent luxury standards across the operation.
- Interact directly with guests, handling feedback and resolving issues to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including outsourced staff and cleaners, ensuring service quality and compliance with standards.
