We are hiring an AI Tools Associate to support our internal consulting team and a key engagement for a Riyadh-based client. This is a permanent, full-time role designed for someone who enjoys finding practical ways to use technology to organize information and simplify communication. As a fully remote position, it requires a high degree of self-organization and a preference for clear, written records over verbal updates.
About the role
This position exists to help our advisory practice stay focused on what matters most: helping leadership teams solve management friction. We do not use technology for its own sake. Instead, we look for tools that can help us capture decisions, map handoffs, and maintain a quiet management rhythm. The AI Tools Associate will be the primary person responsible for testing and implementing these tools to ensure that our internal work and our client projects remain organized and easy to follow. You will help us move away from relying on memory by creating a reliable, written system for everything we do.
What you will do - Test various AI applications to determine how they can best support our note-taking and documentation processes.
- Create and manage templates that help our consultants turn complex meeting transcripts into simple, actionable summaries.
- Organize the digital project records for our Riyadh-based client to ensure all decisions and priorities are clearly tracked.
- Configure basic automations to move information between our communication tools and our internal knowledge base.
- Review and edit AI-generated outputs to ensure they meet our standards for plain English and directness.
- Help maintain the smallest possible written record for our recurring team rhythms so that everyone stays aligned.
- Assist in the setup of new project spaces, ensuring that all ownership and responsibility markers are clearly defined.
- Keep our internal library of tool guides up to date so that the rest of the team can use them effectively.
What we are looking for - A strong preference for clarity and simple language in all forms of communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies in written records.
- A natural curiosity about how software tools can make daily work more efficient.
- The ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment.
- A practical mindset that favors useful results over flashy or complex presentations.
- Good time management skills and the ability to handle several small administrative tasks at once.
- A belief that good management is about clear habits and better documentation.
Helpful background - Basic experience using AI chat tools or LLMs for writing or summarization tasks.
- Familiarity with common project management software or digital collaboration platforms.
- A background in business, communications, or a technical field that requires logical thinking.
- Any previous experience working on digital projects or in a remote team setting.
- Basic knowledge of how to create structured prompts or instructions for software tools.
What we offer
This is a fully remote role, giving you the freedom to work from a location that suits your life. We value a quiet work environment and prioritize focused, deep work over a calendar full of meetings. You will have the chance to work directly with experienced consultants on high-level management issues, gaining a clear understanding of how successful companies operate. The position is a paid role, and we offer a salary that is competitive for this level of experience and the current market.
About Olive Tree
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems; they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.
We favor practical changes over large-scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
