Job Title: Technician, Paint Shop Process

Location: Jeddah

Exp: 2 Years of Minimum experience in Automotive Paint Shop Process

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for day-to-day operations, chemicals preparation, paint controls and preparation, sealers controls, dirt analysis, process checking and assessment to achieve the production targets.

Job Role

• Operate the equipment related to span of control to guarantee proper equipment and material process parameters to run production every day.

• Perform a smooth production process by ensuring efficient operation and availability of machinery, equipment and materials by maintaining and rectifying issues in PTED, Paint Mix Room. Robot Cells and Sealers application.

• Prepare materials according to the Process Control Plan for daily reposition of consumption or for changes in program production.

• Support daily control of physical and chemical specifications of every material and reports find and coordinates control/corrective actions with the Paint shop’s stakeholders involved

• Perform Dirt Control Analysis to understand the source of every contamination that impacts paint quality.

• Predictive maintenance and process tasks by identifying and remediating potential issues before they result in breakdowns or production quality disruptions.

• Perform technical tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics and troubleshooting to repairs of process equipment.

• Identify process improvement opportunities with focus on quality, cost and environment impact, and check BPD, provides proper countermeasures for items out of control

• Perform the 5S´s and safety rules are followed and maintained on his/her team area of responsibility.

• Operate and use a variety of lab materials, chemicals, hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Job Requirements

Education

Technical High School, or Diploma in Chemistry, Mechanics, Electrical, Mechatronic or any related field

Experience

2 Years of Minimum experience in Automotive Paint Shop Process team, Dirt control analysis experience is required.
