المهام والمسؤوليات
- مراجعة وتنسيق أنشطة هندسة الطرق عبر المشروع.
- مراجعة رسومات IFC ومخططات الطرق والتقاطعات الطولية والعرضية والمواصفات والحسابات التصميمية.
- تقديم الدعم الفني للطرق وطرق الوصول والطرق الخدمية والطرق الداخلية والبنية التحتية المرتبطة.
- دعم تسليم الطرق الجانبية للمطار وطرق الوصول الجوية والطرق البرية والخدمية وغيرها من البنية التحتية للنقل.
- مراجعة المحاذاة الأفقية والرأسية للطرق والتقاطعات الطولية والميول العرضية والمناسيب.
- مراجعة تصميم الرصف وطبقات الرصف والمواصفات المادية ومتطلبات الإنشاء.
- تنسيق واجهات تصميم الطرق مع أنظمة الصرف والمرافق والأعمال الترابية والمنشآت والإضاءة واللافتات والتنسيق وغيرها من أنظمة البنية التحتية.
- مراجعة متطلبات صرف الطرق بما في ذلك الصرف السطحي والمجاري والقنوات وأحواض التجميع والوصلات بشبكات مياه الأمطار.
- التنسيق مع فرق المساحة لضمان وضع دقيق لمحاذاة الطرق والمناسيب والميول والتقاطعات.
- مراجعة المخططات التنفيذية للمقاول وبيانات الطرق ومواد التوريد والتقديمات الفنية.
- مراجعة والتحقق من مواد إنشاء الطرق المقترحة بما في ذلك التربة التحتية والطبقة السفلية وطبقة الأساس والأسفلت والخرسانة والأرصفة والمواد المرتبطة.
- مراقبة أنشطة إنشاء الطرق بما في ذلك الأعمال الترابية والتسوية وتهيئة التربة التحتية والدمك والطبقة السفلية وطبقة الأساس ورصف الأسفلت والأرصفة وعلامات الطرق والأعمال المرتبطة.
- إجراء فحوصات ميدانية والتحقق من المطابقة للرسومات والمواصفات المعتمدة.
- مراقبة الأعمال الترابية ومناسيب التأسيس والتحقق من المطابقة للتفاوتات المسموح بها.
- مراجعة نتائج تصنيف التربة والدمك واختبار CBR والاختبارات الحقلية الأخرى ذات الصلة.
- مراجعة نتائج اختبار الركام ومواد الرصف.
- مراجعة تصميمات خلطات الأسفلت والاختبارات المختبرية والميدانية ذات الصلة.
- مراقبة إنتاج الأسفلت ونقله وفرشه ودمكه ودرجة حرارته وسمكه وجودته.
- التنسيق مع فرق الجودة فيما يتعلق بفحوصات أعمال الطرق واختباراتها.
- المعاينة والمراجعة لاختبارات الكثافة الحقلية والدمك والأسفلت والخرسانة والرصف المطلوبة.
- مراجعة خطط الفحص والاختبار (ITPs) وضمان تنفيذ نقاط التوقف والشهود المطلوبة.
- تحديد عيوب الإنشاء والأعمال غير المطابقة ومشاكل أداء الرصف المحتملة.
- دعم التحقيق في وحل تقارير عدم المطابقة (NCRs) وطلبات المعلومات (RFIs) والاستفسارات الفنية والمشكلات الهندسية في الموقع.
- مراجعة الحلول الفنية المقترحة والتغييرات التصميمية والانحرافات الإنشائية.
- التنسيق مع مهندسي الجيوتقنية فيما يتعلق بالتربة غير المناسبة وتحسين الأرض والهبوط وظروف تربة الرصف.
- التنسيق مع مهندسي المرافق لضمان توافق إنشاء الطرق مع ممرات المرافق تحت الأرض والتقاطعات.
- التنسيق مع مهندسي المساحة للتحقق من مناسيب الطرق والمحاذاة والتقاطعات وحالة كما-تم-الإنشاء.
- التنسيق مع مهندسي المرور فيما يتعلق بهندسة الطرق وحركة المرور والوصول واللافتات والعلامات ومتطلبات السلامة.
- دعم تنسيق إدارة حركة المرور المؤقتة وترتيبات الوصول أثناء الإنشاء.
- مراجعة لافتات الطرق وعلامات الرصف والأرصفة والحواجز والبراميل وغيرها من بنية الطرق التحتية المرتبطة.
- دعم تنسيق الطرق والأرصفة مع بنية المطار التحتية ومتطلبات التشغيل بالمطار حيثما ينطبق.
- مراجعة واجهات إنشاء الطرق مع مدارج الطائرات وممرات التاكسي وساحات الانتظار والطرق الخدمية ومرافق المطار الجانبية عند الحاجة.
- مراقبة تقدم الإنشاء وتحديد المشكلات الفنية التي قد تؤثر على جدول المشروع.
- المشاركة في الاجتماعات الفنية مع المقاولين والاستشاريين وأصحاب المصلحة في المشروع.
- إعداد التقارير الفنية وسجلات الفحص وتحديثات التقدم الهندسي.
- مراجعة والتحقق من رسومات كما-تم-الإنشاء وسجلات المساحة وشهادات الاختبار ووثائق المواد وحافظات التسليم.
- دعم الفحص النهائي والاختبار والإكمال والتسليم للبنية التحتية للطرق.
- ضمان امتثال أعمال الطرق لمعايير AASHTO وASTM وBS وEN وكود البناء السعودي ومتطلبات الوزارة/البلدية ومعايير المطار والمواصفات الخاصة بالمشروع حسب الحالة.
- تقديم التوجيه الفني للمهندسين المبتدئين وفرق الموقع.
- دعم مبادرات الهندسة القيمية ومراجعات قابلية الإنشاء والدروس المستفادة.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مجال هندسة الطرق أو الطرق السريعة أو الرصف أو البنية التحتية.
- خبرة مثبتة في مشاريع كبرى للمطارات أو البنية التحتية أو الطرق السريعة أو الطرق أو مشاريع التطوير واسعة النطاق.
- معرفة قوية بإنشاء الطرق وأنظمة الرصف والأعمال الترابية والصرف ومواد الطرق.
- خبرة في الإشراف على الإنشاء والمراجعة الفنية والفحص والتنسيق مع المقاولين.
- خبرة في طرق المطارات ورصفها تعتبر مفضلة للغاية.
- شهادة مهنية في الهندسة (PE) تعتبر مفضلة.
- شهادة في هندسة الرصف أو الطرق السريعة تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
- تدريب على معايير AASHTO/ASTM/مواد الرصف يعتبر ميزة إضافية.
- تدريب على إدارة المشاريع (PMP) أو ما يعادله يعتبر ميزة إضافية.
- شهادة/تدريب على AutoCAD Civil 3D يعتبر مفضلاً.
- شهادة ذات صلة بالصحة والسلامة والبيئة (HSE) تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Road Engineer to join our team!
The Road Engineer will be responsible for providing technical engineering support for the design, construction, inspection, testing, and handover of road and pavement infrastructure across the project. The role will ensure that roadworks are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, applicable standards, authority requirements, and client expectations.
The position will coordinate closely with Civil, Geotechnical, Survey, Utilities, Structural, Traffic, Drainage, Quality, HSE, Planning, Contractors, Consultants, and Airport Operations teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review and coordinate road engineering activities across the project.
- Review IFC drawings, road layouts, profiles, cross-sections, specifications, and design calculations.
- Provide technical support for roads, access roads, service roads, internal roads, and associated infrastructure.
- Support the delivery of airport-side roads, airside access routes, landside roads, service roads, and other transportation infrastructure, as applicable.
- Review horizontal and vertical road alignments, profiles, cross-falls, gradients, levels, and cross-sections.
- Review pavement design, pavement layers, material specifications, and construction requirements.
- Coordinate road design interfaces with drainage, utilities, earthworks, structures, lighting, signage, landscaping, and other infrastructure systems.
- Review road drainage requirements including surface drainage, gullies, channels, catch basins, and connections to stormwater networks.
- Coordinate with Survey teams to ensure accurate setting-out of road alignments, levels, grades, and profiles.
- Review contractor shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Review and verify proposed road construction materials including subgrade, sub-base, base course, asphalt, concrete, kerbs, paving, and associated materials.
- Monitor road construction activities including earthworks, grading, subgrade preparation, compaction, sub-base, base course, asphalt paving, kerbs, road markings, and associated works.
- Conduct site inspections and verify construction against approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor earthworks and formation levels and verify compliance with approved tolerances.
- Review soil classification, compaction, CBR, field density, and other applicable test results.
- Review aggregate testing and pavement material test results.
- Review asphalt mix designs and relevant laboratory and field testing.
- Monitor asphalt production, transportation, laying, compaction, temperature, thickness, and quality.
- Coordinate with Quality teams regarding roadwork inspections and testing.
- Witness and review required field density, compaction, asphalt, concrete, and pavement testing.
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure required hold and witness points are implemented.
- Identify construction deficiencies, non-conforming works, and potential pavement performance issues.
- Support investigation and resolution of NCRs, RFIs, technical queries, and site engineering issues.
- Review proposed technical solutions, design changes, and construction deviations.
- Coordinate with Geotechnical Engineers regarding unsuitable soils, ground improvement, settlement, and pavement subgrade conditions.
- Coordinate with Utility Engineers to ensure road construction is compatible with underground utility corridors and crossings.
- Coordinate with Survey Engineers to verify road levels, alignment, cross-sections, and as-built conditions.
- Coordinate with Traffic Engineers regarding road geometry, traffic circulation, access, signage, markings, and safety requirements.
- Support coordination of temporary traffic management and construction access arrangements.
- Review road signage, pavement markings, kerbs, barriers, bollards, and other associated road infrastructure.
- Support coordination of roads and pavements with airfield infrastructure and airport operational requirements, where applicable.
- Review road construction interfaces with runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, and airside facilities where required.
- Monitor construction progress and identify technical issues that may impact project schedule.
- Participate in technical meetings with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and engineering progress updates.
- Review and verify as-built drawings, survey records, test certificates, material documentation, and handover dossiers.
- Support final inspection, testing, completion, and handover of road infrastructure.
- Ensure roadworks comply with applicable AASHTO, ASTM, BS, EN, Saudi Building Code, MOT/Municipality requirements, airport standards, and project-specific specifications, as applicable.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
- Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and lessons-learned initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in road, highway, pavement, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proven experience on major airport, infrastructure, highway, roads, or large-scale development projects.
- Strong knowledge of road construction, pavement systems, earthworks, drainage, and road materials.
- Experience in construction supervision, technical review, inspection, and contractor coordination.
- Airport / airfield road and pavement experience is highly preferred.
- Professional Engineering certification is preferred.
- Pavement / Highway Engineering certification is an advantage.
- AASHTO / ASTM / pavement materials training is advantageous.
- PMP or equivalent project management training is an advantage.
- AutoCAD Civil 3D certification/training is preferred.
- Relevant HSE certification is an advantage.
