Most companies struggle with internal processes that look good on a slide deck but fail in reality. Tech Pipeline steps in to fix the broken reports, stalled migrations, and disconnected systems that actually prevent work from getting done.
The role
We are currently supporting a Jeddah-based partner as they overhaul their data reporting and internal workflows. As a Junior Analytics Analyst, your job is to help us track down data errors and ensure that the new systems we build are providing accurate information to the people who need it. This is a fully remote position where you will focus on the practical side of data: finding where it breaks and helping us fix it.
What you will do - Trace specific data points through different software tools to find exactly where the numbers stop matching up.
- Audit existing reports to identify duplicates, calculation errors, or missing fields that lead to bad business decisions.
- Write clear, step-by-step documentation for new processes so the client team can handle the work once we leave.
- Check daily system logs to identify why an automated data transfer failed and report the specific error.
- Update internal spreadsheets and tracking logs to keep the project team informed on our progress.
- Interview the people who use the reports to understand what information they actually need to do their jobs.
- Compare historical records against new system outputs to verify that the migration has not corrupted any data.
- Organize raw data into clean tables that senior analysts can use for more complex modeling.
What we are looking for - A logical mindset that enjoys solving puzzles and finding small errors in large sets of information.
- Comfort with Excel, specifically using basic formulas, filters, and pivot tables to organize numbers.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to explain a technical problem using plain English.
- A high level of curiosity regarding how different business departments, such as finance or operations, connect.
- The ability to stay focused and methodical when performing repetitive data verification tasks.
- A willingness to speak up and ask questions when a process or a data point does not seem right.
- Basic familiarity with SQL or simple data visualization tools is helpful, but we are happy to teach you the specifics.
What we offer - A fully remote work environment that allows you to focus on your tasks without office distractions.
- Attractive and competitive pay that reflects the importance of this entry-level role in our project.
- Direct mentorship from senior operations experts who prefer teaching over managing.
- A culture that values concise written updates and clear documentation over long, unnecessary meetings.
- Hands-on experience working on a large-scale system cleanup for a partner in Jeddah.
- A professional environment where your work is measured by the stability of the processes you help build.
- Full-time, permanent employment with a team that values long-term stability and clear communication.
How we work
Tech Pipeline functions differently than most consultancies. We do not spend our time creating abstract frameworks or high-level strategy presentations. We prefer to work in the tools, reading logs and cleaning up spreadsheets until a process is stable. Our team relies heavily on written communication: we document everything so that anyone can pick up the work at any time. We do not believe in staying on a project indefinitely (we fix the problem, ensure the team can run it themselves, and then we move on). If you prefer clear tasks, tangible results, and a quiet remote environment, you will find this to be a productive place to start your career in analytics.
