WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن أخصائي نظم معلومات جغرافية (GIS) لدعم مشاريع البنية التحتية للنقل والطرق والمرافق في جدة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تطوير وصيانة وإدارة قواعد البيانات الجغرافية (GIS databases) والبيانات المكانية لمشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • دعم مشاريع النقل والطرق والمرافق والصرف الصحي من خلال التحليل المكاني وإنتاج الخرائط.
  • دمج بيانات المسح والمرافق والهندسة والإنشاء في منصات GIS.
  • إنتاج خرائط ورسومات ولوحات معلومات وتقارير مكانية عالية الجودة لفرق المشروع والعملاء.
  • دعم تنسيق المرافق وقوائم الأصول وأنشطة رسم خرائط البنية التحتية.
  • التحقق من دقة واتساق واكتمال البيانات المكانية الواردة من المقاولين وأصحاب المصلحة.
  • إدارة وصيانة معايير بيانات GIS والبيانات الوصفية وإجراءات مراقبة الجودة.
  • التنسيق مع مساحي الأراضي والمهندسين وفرق الإشراف الموقعي لضمان التمثيل المكاني الدقيق لأصول المشروع.
  • دعم إعداد سجلات GIS للإنشاءات المنفذة (as-built) وقواعد بيانات الأصول الرقمية.
  • إجراء تحليل مكاني لدعم تخطيط المشاريع ومراقبة التقدم واتخاذ القرارات.
  • المساعدة في تطوير وتنفيذ سير عمل GIS وعمليات إدارة البيانات.
  • دعم متطلبات الإبلاغ للعملاء وتقديم البيانات المكانية طوال مراحل تسليم المشروع.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في GIS أو الجيوماتكس أو الجغرافيا أو المساحة أو الهندسة المدنية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في مجال GIS، ويفضل أن تكون في مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • خبرة إلزامية داخل المملكة العربية السعودية (KSA).
  • خبرة مثبتة في العمل مع شركات استشارية هندسية.
  • خبرة قوية في دعم مشاريع النقل والطرق والطرق السريعة والمرافق والبنية التحتية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • إتقان استخدام ArcGIS و ArcGIS Pro و QGIS والتطبيقات ذات الصلة.
  • خبرة في إدارة قواعد البيانات الجغرافية والتحليل المكاني وتحويل البيانات وإنتاج الخرائط.
  • معرفة بدمج بيانات المسح وأنظمة الإحداثيات وممارسات إدارة البيانات المكانية.
  • يفضل أن تكون لديه خبرة في دعم الإشراف على الإنشاءات ومشاريع تسليم البنية التحتية.
  • مهارات تحليلية وتواصلية وإعداد تقارير قوية.
  • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية أمر أساسي؛ مهارات اللغة العربية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Job Description

WSP is seeking an experienced GIS Specialist to support the delivery of major transportation, road, and utility infrastructure projects in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and analyzing geospatial data to support construction supervision, asset management, utility coordination, and project reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage GIS databases, geodatabases, and spatial datasets for infrastructure projects.
  • Support transportation, roads, utilities, and drainage projects through geospatial analysis and mapping.
  • Integrate survey, utility, engineering, and construction data into GIS platforms.
  • Produce high-quality GIS maps, drawings, dashboards, and spatial reports for project teams and clients.
  • Support utility coordination, asset inventories, and infrastructure mapping activities.
  • Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of geospatial data received from contractors and stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain GIS data standards, metadata, and quality control procedures.
  • Coordinate with land surveyors, engineers, and site supervision teams to ensure accurate spatial representation of project assets.
  • Support the preparation of as-built GIS records and digital asset databases.
  • Perform spatial analysis to support project planning, progress monitoring, and decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of GIS workflows and data management processes.
  • Support client reporting requirements and geospatial data submissions throughout project delivery.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of GIS experience, preferably on infrastructure projects.
  • Mandatory experience within Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  • Proven experience working with engineering consultancy firms.
  • Strong experience supporting transportation, roads, highways, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, and related GIS applications.
  • Experience managing geodatabases, spatial analysis, data conversion, and map production.
  • Knowledge of survey data integration, coordinate systems, and geospatial data management practices.
  • Experience supporting construction supervision and infrastructure delivery projects is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
