يخضع حرمنا الجنوبي لتحول أكاديمي وبيداغوجي كبير يركز على STEM، مدعوم باستثمار كبير في مختبرات علوم حديثة وبنية تعليمية متطورة. نبحث عن معلم كيمياء متمرس ومؤهل تأهيلاً عالياً يمكنه استغلال هذه المرافق لتقديم تعليم عملي وجذاب وصارم أكاديمياً في الكيمياء، مع تحقيق نتائج متميزة للطلاب في الامتحانات الخارجية. سيلعب المرشح الناجح دوراً رئيسياً في تعزيز تعليم العلوم العملي ودمج التعلم المخبري كجزء أساسي من منهج الكيمياء.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تقديم تعليم عالي الجودة في الكيمياء لمستويات IGCSE و A-Level وفق المنهج البريطاني ومتطلبات هيئات الامتحانات ذات الصلة.
- التركيز القوي والمستمر على التعلم المخبري العملي، وضمان دمج التجارب العملية في جميع أنحاء المنهج.
- الاستفادة القصوى من مرافق المختبرات المتطورة والموارد المتاحة في المدرسة.
- تصميم دروس جذابة تطور مهارات الاستقصاء العلمي والتفكير التحليلي وحل المشكلات والمهارات التجريبية لدى الطلاب.
- إعداد الطلاب بشكل فعال للمكونات العملية في الامتحانات الخارجية.
- دفع الأداء القوي للطلاب ونسب النجاح في امتحانات الهيئات الخارجية.
- مراقبة تحصيل الطلاب وتقدمهم باستخدام بيانات التقييم الداخلية والخارجية، وتحديد فجوات التعلم وتنفيذ استراتيجيات الدعم والتدخل المستهدفة.
- المساهمة في تحقيق تقدم ملموس ذي قيمة مضافة للطلاب عبر المراحل العليا.
- الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة لإنجازات الطلاب وتقييماتهم وتقدمهم الأكاديمي.
- الالتزام الصارم بمعايير وبروتوكولات السلامة والصحة المخبرية الدولية، بما في ذلك إجراء تقييمات المخاطر قبل الأنشطة العملية.
- التأكد من اتباع الإجراءات المناسبة للتعامل مع المواد الكيميائية وتخزينها واستخدامها والتخلص منها.
- التعاون مع مدير الأكاديميا لضمان توافق المنهج مع المعايير المدرسية ومتطلبات الامتحانات، ومع مدير STEM لتنسيق جداول المختبرات والمعدات والموارد.
- المشاركة الفعالة في التخطيط القسمي وتطوير المناهج والتحكيم ومراجعة الأداء الأكاديمي، والمساهمة في مبادرات STEM والأنشطة الإثرائية والمسابقات العلمية.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الكيمياء أو مجال وثيق الصلة من مؤسسة معترف بها.
- مؤهل تدريسي معترف به (شهادة تدريس صالحة)، ويفضل أن يكون PGCE أو QTS أو ما يعادله من مؤهلات التدريس العليا.
- شهادة سلامة مختبرات حديثة ومعترف بها مثل CLEAPSS أو ما يعادلها دولياً.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في تدريس الكيمياء في المراحل العليا / الثانوية.
- خبرة مثبتة في تدريس المنهج البريطاني، وخصوصاً IGCSE و A-Level في الكيمياء.
- خبرة في تقديم تعليم كيمياء عملي قائم على المختبر.
- سجل حافل في دعم تحصيل الطلاب المتميز ونتائج الامتحانات الخارجية.
- خبرة في استخدام بيانات التقييم لمراقبة تقدم الطلاب وتحديد الفجوات وتنفيذ تدخلات أكاديمية مستهدفة.
- خبرة قوية في إدارة الصف الدراسي وتحفيز الطلاب.
- خبرة في العمل بفعالية ضمن بيئة مدرسية دولية متعددة الثقافات.
- يفضل الخبرة السابقة في مدارس المنهج البريطاني الصارمة أكاديمياً في المملكة المتحدة أو جنوب أفريقيا أو المدارس الدولية عالية الأداء في منطقة MENA.

- Deliver high-quality IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry instruction aligned with the UK Curriculum and relevant examination board requirements
- Provide a strong and consistent emphasis on hands-on laboratory learning, ensuring practical experimentation is embedded throughout the curriculum
- Maximize the effective utilization of the school's advanced laboratory facilities and resources
- Design engaging lessons that develop students' scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and experimental skills
- Prepare students effectively for practical components of external examinations
- Drive strong student performance and pass rates in external board examinations
- Monitor student attainment and progress using internal and external assessment data
- Identify learning gaps and implement targeted intervention and support strategies
- Contribute to measurable value-added student progress across the Upper Grades
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement, assessment, and academic progress
- Maintain strict adherence to recognized international laboratory health and safety standards and protocols

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from a recognized institution
- Valid and recognized teaching qualification or credential
- PGCE, QTS, or equivalent postgraduate teaching qualification is preferred
- Recognized and up-to-date laboratory safety certification, such as CLEAPSS or an internationally recognized equivalent
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, risk assessments, chemical handling, storage, and disposal procedures
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Chemistry
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to academic excellence, student-centered learning, and continuous professional development
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience in Upper Grades/Secondary Chemistry
- Proven experience teaching the UK Curriculum, particularly IGCSE and/or A-Level Chemistry
- Demonstrated experience in delivering hands-on, laboratory-based Chemistry instruction
- Proven track record of supporting strong student attainment and external examination outcomes
- Experience using assessment data to monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted academic interventions
- Strong classroom management and student engagement experience
- Experience working effectively within a multicultural international school environment
- Previous experience in academically rigorous UK Curriculum schools in the UK, South Africa, or high-performing international schools within the MENA region is preferred
