تعلن شركة Hill International, Inc. عن حاجتها لشغل وظيفة Senior Sustainability Engineer في الدمام، المنطقة الشرقية.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

نبحث عن محترف في مجال الاستدامة يتمتع بخبرة تزيد عن 5 سنوات في تصميم المباني المستدامة، كفاءة الطاقة، الحلول منخفضة الكربون، وتقييم المباني الخضراء. مطلوب مهارات في LEED/Mostadam، استراتيجيات الاستدامة، خفض الطاقة والكربون، مراجعة التصاميم، تحليل الفجوات، ودراسات الجدوى. إتقان استخدام CAD، GIS، النمذجة، تحليل البيانات، وإعداد التقارير الفنية. خبرة في إدارة العملاء وأصحاب المصلحة، تنسيق المشاريع، وتطوير حلول استدامة عملية. مهارات قوية في الجوانب الفنية والتحليلية والتواصل وكتابة التقارير.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • تقديم المشورة الاستراتيجية بشأن حلول تصميم المباني منخفضة الطاقة ومنخفضة الكربون والمستدامة.
  • العمل مع الجهات المعنية الرئيسية للعميل لتطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات الاستدامة للمشروع والمنظمة.
  • تحديد مخاطر الاستدامة، واقتراح إجراءات التخفيف، وتحديد الفرص لتعزيز أداء ومصداقية الاستدامة.
  • إجراء التقييمات المبدئية للاستدامة وتقديم توصيات التصميم لتحقيق التصنيفات المستهدفة للمباني وأهداف الأداء.
  • إجراء تحليل الفجوات وإعداد التقارير في حال عدم تحقيق التصنيف المطلوب للاستدامة أو الشهادة، بما في ذلك توصيات التحسين.
  • مراقبة عملية التصميم لضمان دمج أهداف الاستدامة ومتطلبات المشروع وتوقعات العميل والحفاظ عليها طوال تطوير المشروع.
  • إعداد دراسات جدوى لتقنيات الكربون المنخفض والصفر، وبيانات الطاقة، والوثائق الداعمة للموافقات التخطيطية والجهات المختصة.
  • تطوير نماذج التصميم والاستدامة باستخدام CAD و GIS وتقنيات الخرائط والأدوات الأخرى ذات الصلة لدعم حلول الهندسة والاستدامة.
  • جمع وتحليل البيانات النوعية والكمية، وإدارة مشاريع العملاء، وتقديم تحديثات منتظمة عن التقدم، والحفاظ على معلومات تقييم المباني الحالية.
  • إعداد التقارير الفنية ومحافظ العملاء والعروض والاقتراحات مع تقديم دعم فني وإضافي في الاستدامة للفريق الأوسع.
  • الإلمام بسياسات الجودة والبيئة والسلامة والصحة المهنية ذات الصلة ضمن Hill International وضمان الامتثال المستمر لهذه المتطلبات.
  • أداء المهام الأخرى التي يكلف بها المشرف المباشر.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة أو الاستدامة أو العلوم البيئية أو الهندسة المعمارية أو مجال ذي صلة؛ يفضل درجة الماجستير وشهادة LEED.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 12 عاماً في المجال ذي الصلة و5 أعوام في الاستدامة، ويفضل أن تكون في المباني أو البناء أو الهندسة.
  • معرفة قوية بمبادئ المباني الخضراء ومتطلبات LEED/Mostadam وكفاءة الطاقة والحفاظ على المياه والمواد المستدامة.
  • فهم جيد لإزالة الكربون وتصميم المباني منخفضة الكربون والطاقة المتجددة والكربون المضمن وخفض الكربون التشغيلي.
  • خلفية هندسية قوية مع القدرة على مراجعة التصاميم وتقييم أنظمة المباني وتقييم المنتجات والمواد المستدامة.
  • قدرات تحليلية وحل مشكلات قوية، مع مهارات ممتازة في كتابة التقارير الفنية والتوثيق وتقييم الاستدامة.
  • مهارات تواصل وإدارة أصحاب مصلحة قوية، مع القدرة على العمل بفعالية مع فرق متعددة التخصصات في الهندسة والتصميم والبناء وفرق العملاء.

Job Description

Sustainability professional with 5+ years of experience in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, low-carbon solutions, and green-building assessments. Skilled in LEED/Mostadam, sustainability strategies, energy and carbon reduction, design reviews, gap analysis, and feasibility studies. Proficient in CAD, GIS, modelling, data analysis, and technical reporting. Experienced in client and stakeholder management, project coordination, and developing practical sustainability solutions. Strong technical, analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on low-energy, low-carbon, and sustainable building design solutions.
  • Work with key client stakeholders to develop and implement project and organizational sustainability strategies.
  • Identify sustainability risks, recommend mitigation measures, and identify opportunities to enhance sustainability performance and credentials.
  • Conduct sustainability pre-assessments and provide design recommendations to achieve targeted building ratings and performance objectives.
  • Undertake gap analysis and prepare reports where the desired sustainability or certification rating is not achievable, including recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor the design process to ensure sustainability objectives, project requirements, and client expectations are incorporated and maintained throughout project development.
  • Prepare low- and zero-carbon technology feasibility studies, energy statements, and supporting documentation for planning and authority approvals.
  • Develop design and sustainability models using CAD, GIS, mapping technologies, and other relevant tools to support engineering and sustainability solutions.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data, manage client projects, provide regular progress updates, and maintain current building assessment information.
  • Prepare technical reports, client portfolios, bids, and proposals while providing additional technical and sustainability support to the wider team.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture, or related field; Master’s degree and LEED certification preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years relevent experience and 5 years of sustainability experience, preferably in buildings, construction, or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of green-building principles, LEED/Mostadam requirements, energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable materials.
  • Good understanding of decarbonization, low-carbon building design, renewable energy, embodied carbon, and operational carbon reduction.
  • Strong engineering knowledge with the ability to review designs, assess building systems, and evaluate sustainable products and materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent technical report writing, documentation, and sustainability assessment skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering, design, construction, and client teams.
