The Project

Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for major new build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments, and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadia capacity, delivering major mixed-use amenities, and introducing robust knowledge transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond construction.

Leads the implementation of design management systems, ensuring compliance and value delivery. Drives change and improvement across all project phases, coordinating with key functions.

Provides strategic leadership to design teams and approves consultant appointments, aligning with governance and client expectations.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Manage safe, compliant, and sustainable design delivery, promoting quality, well-being, and operational excellence.
• Guide design management teams to achieve strategic objectives, project outcomes, and performance targets.
• Oversee design management systems, ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and business requirements.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing while supporting client relationships and business growth.
• Supervise design delivery aligned with business plan targets and budget.
• Guide teams, ensuring stakeholder needs and governance are met.
• Present KPIs and support business development initiatives.
• Drive collaboration, innovation, and carbon reduction through a center of excellence and reach-back resources.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• Degree in design or related field.
• Chartered membership (e.g., RIBA, CIOB, RICS).
• Strong BIM, prefabrication, and design risk expertise.
• Proven experience in FIFA stadiums.
• Sector-spanning experience with sound technical and safety knowledge.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
