The Role

The Service Technician will play a key role in ensuring complete customer satisfaction through the installation, maintenance, and servicing of advanced fitness equipment. Acting as a customer advocate, the successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues efficiently while maintaining high service performance standards.

Key Responsibilities of Service Technician:

• Execute service jobs in line with defined standard operating procedures
• Deliver strong field performance against key service KPIs
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technical equipment
• Conduct effective root cause analysis to determine appropriate solutions
• Manage and maintain accurate parts inventory
• Educate customers on proper technical use and care of equipment
• Accurately manage work orders and service reports
• Provide structured technical feedback from the field to internal teams
• Communicate estimated arrival times and manage customer expectations
• Escalate complex issues when required
• Ensure accurate service data reporting
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly
• Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and company guidelines

Requirements of Service Technician:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar service engineering role
• Diploma or Degree in Electronics & Communications or related field
• Strong mechanical and electronic engineering capabilities
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
• Experience using mobile tools and service applications
• Basic knowledge of IT networking (advantageous)
• Experience managing service orders and customer requests
• Strong organisational and reporting skills
• Clear communication skills and customer-facing experience
• Team-oriented with a transparent and professional approach
