Deployment Manager

Riyadh, KSA | Onsite | Enterprise IT

A leading enterprise is seeking an experienced Deployment Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of system and application deployments into the production environment. This role sits at the intersection of change management, testing governance, and production operations, ensuring that every change is properly validated, compliantly deployed, and stable before formal acceptance.

Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and execute deployments across development, testing, UAT, and production environments, ensuring all dependencies, risks, prerequisites, approvals, and rollback plans are in place before any change reaches production.

- Own change testing and validation, confirming that functional, integration, regression, and business acceptance criteria are fully met and that production readiness sign-offs are secured from all relevant stakeholders.

- Oversee production deployments and manage the post-deployment stability period, defining validation criteria, monitoring system behavior and key processes, and formally closing the stability period once the solution is confirmed as operating correctly.

- Continuously monitor deployed systems and production processes to detect discrepancies between approved procedures and actual behavior, escalating any deviations that could represent a policy, control, or regulatory breach.

- Lead post-deployment reviews, manage deployment-related risks and issues across technical, business, security, and vendor teams, and maintain governance records and regular reporting on deployment status, readiness, and compliance.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT, covering system deployments, release and change management, and production support.

- Solid background in software or system testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT.

- Proven ability to manage production readiness processes, including documentation, approvals, rollback planning, and stakeholder coordination.

- Experience operating within environments governed by strong risk, audit, compliance, or regulatory frameworks.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical, business, and vendor teams simultaneously.

- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL, particularly change and release management processes.

Nice to Haves

- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, government, or telecoms in the GCC or broader Middle East region.

- Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, or core banking systems.

- Relevant certifications in ITIL, PMP, or a related discipline.
