•    Design, build and maintain reusable UI and API automation frameworks with scalability, maintainability and reusability built in from the start.

•    Own the architecture of the automation solution - modular design, reusable components, configuration management and version-controlled assets.

•    Automate regression and certification suites, continuously extending coverage to reduce manual effort and shorten cycle time.

•    Design and implement synthetic test-data generation to remove data dependencies and unblock parallel test execution.

•    Build and maintain ISO 8583 simulators for card flows across ATM, POS and e-commerce channels.

•    Develop ISO 20022 message generators for transfer and settlement flows, including dynamic message construction and validation.

•    Develop SOAP / XML stubs and service simulators for counterparties and channels that are not always available for testing.

•    Operate simulation services to de-risk certification cycles and reduce reliance on end-to-end manual testing.

•    Integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent) as part of the deployment workflow.

•    Structure smoke, sanity and regression suites so the right coverage runs at the right stage of the pipeline.

•    Produce robust execution reporting and dashboards that evidence quality, coverage and reliability.

•    Education - BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

•    Experience - more than 10 years of relevant experience, including substantial time designing and building automation frameworks from the ground up - not only writing scripts within an existing framework.

•    Programming - strong hands-on Java, sound object-oriented design, and disciplined use of version control and code review.

•    Automation engineering - proven framework architecture: modular design, reusable components, data-driven and keyword-driven approaches, parallel execution and reporting.

•    Tools - Selenium, REST Assured, SoapUI, TestNG, Jenkins and Git. Docker and containerized execution an advantage.

•    Simulation - demonstrable experience building simulators, stubs, mocks or service virtualization for systems and interfaces unavailable in test.

•    Technical literacy - REST and SOAP services, JSON and XML message structures, message queues, socket-based connections, and log analysis.

•    Languages - Professional working English

•    Eligibility - based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh; able to work 100% onsite

We are looking for familiarity with any of the following:

•    Payment messaging standards - ISO 8583 for cards and ISO 20022, including field-level message construction and parsing.

•    Payment protocols and interfaces - SOAP / XML and REST services, message queues, and host-to-host interface.

•    ISO 8583 libraries such as jPOS, or equivalent experience building card-transaction simulators.

•    Payment security concepts - MAC and cryptogram calculation, PIN block handling, key exchange, and encryption / decryption in transaction flows.

•    Certification and conformance testing, and how automation and simulation shorten certification cycles.

•    ISTQB Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineer - Preferred

•    ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL)

•    Relevant programming or cloud/DevOps certification - an advantage
