المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة تنفيذ خطة الإدارة البيئية للمشروع (EMP).
  • ضمان الامتثال للوائح البيئية والتصاريح ومتطلبات سلطة المطار.
  • مراقبة الأداء البيئي عبر جميع أنشطة الإنشاء.
  • دعم الموافقات البيئية والتقديمات التنظيمية.
  • مراجعة ودعم تقييمات الأثر البيئي (EIA) لأعمال البنية التحتية للمطار.
  • تحديد المخاطر البيئية واقتراح تدابير التخفيف.
  • مراقبة تنفيذ استراتيجيات التخفيف عبر المقاولين وحزم العمل.
  • ضمان حماية المستقبلات البيئية الحساسة أثناء الإنشاء.
  • إجراء تفتيشات منتظمة للموقع لضمان الامتثال البيئي.
  • مراقبة جودة الهواء والضوضاء والاهتزاز وجودة المياه وظروف التربة.
  • ضمان ممارسات الفصل والمعالجة والتخلص السليمة للنفايات.
  • التحقق من التزام المقاولين بالإجراءات والضوابط البيئية.
  • دعم مبادرات الاستدامة بما في ذلك كفاءة الطاقة والحفاظ على المياه وتقليل الانبعاثات.
  • تعزيز ممارسات الإنشاء المستدامة عبر أنشطة المشروع.
  • المساعدة في تتبع مؤشرات الأداء البيئي ومؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية للاستدامة.
  • دعم تطبيق معايير المباني الخضراء ومعايير استدامة المطارات.
  • التواصل مع الجهات التنظيمية البيئية وسلطات المطار والاستشاريين والمقاولين.
  • دعم عمليات التصاريح البيئية وتقارير الامتثال.
  • المشاركة في اجتماعات التنسيق البيئي والتدقيقات.
  • معالجة المخاوف البيئية التي يثيرها أصحاب المصلحة والجهات الرسمية.
  • إعداد تقارير المراقبة البيئية ووثائق الامتثال.
  • حفظ سجلات التفتيشات البيئية والحوادث والإجراءات التصحيحية.
  • دعم إعداد تقارير الأداء البيئي الشهرية والربع سنوية.
  • توثيق حالات عدم الامتثال البيئي وإجراءات المتابعة.
  • التحقيق في الحوادث البيئية وأحداث عدم الامتثال.
  • دعم تحليل الأسباب الجذرية وتنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية.
  • ضمان إغلاق القضايا البيئية في الوقت المناسب.
  • تعزيز التحسين المستمر في الأداء البيئي.
  • إجراء جلسات توعية بيئية لموظفي الموقع والمقاولين.
  • دعم برامج التدريب التعريفي التي تغطي المتطلبات البيئية.
  • تعزيز المسؤولية البيئية عبر جميع فرق المشروع.
  • تشجيع السلوك المستدام وثقافة الامتثال.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة البيئية أو العلوم البيئية أو الهندسة المدنية أو مجال ذي صلة.
  • درجة الماجستير في الإدارة البيئية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في الإدارة البيئية ضمن مشاريع البنية التحتية أو الإنشاء.
  • يفضل خبرة في مشاريع المطارات أو النقل أو مشاريع الهندسة المدنية واسعة النطاق.
  • معرفة قوية بالامتثال البيئي في بيئات الإنشاء.
  • فهم اللوائح البيئية وعمليات تقييم الأثر البيئي وتنفيذ خطة الإدارة البيئية.
  • معرفة أنظمة الإدارة البيئية ISO 14001.
  • الإلمام بأدوات المراقبة البيئية وأنظمة التقارير.
  • مهارات تحليلية وإعداد تقارير قوية.
  • القدرة على التنسيق مع الفرق متعددة التخصصات وأصحاب المصلحة.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • شهادة مهنية في الإدارة البيئية (مثل IEMA أو CIWEM أو ما يعادلها) - مرغوب.
  • خبرة في مشاريع البنية التحتية للمطارات في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي أو الدولية - مرغوب.
  • الإلمام بالمبادئ التوجيهية البيئية لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي (ICAO) وأطر استدامة الطيران - مرغوب.
  • خبرة في بيئات المشاريع القائمة على عقود FIDIC - مرغوب.
  • معرفة بمحاسبة الكربون وأطر تقارير ESG - مرغوب.

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Lead to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing

Environmental Management & Compliance:

  • Lead implementation of the project Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, permits, and airport authority requirements.
  • Monitor environmental performance across all construction activities.
  • Support environmental approvals and regulatory submissions.


Environmental Impact Assessment & Mitigation

  • Review and support environmental impact assessments (EIA) for airport infrastructure works.
  • Identify environmental risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Monitor implementation of mitigation strategies across contractors and work packages.
  • Ensure protection of sensitive environmental receptors during construction.


Site Environmental Monitoring

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Monitor air quality, noise, vibration, water quality, and soil conditions.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation, handling, and disposal practices.
  • Verify contractor adherence to environmental controls and procedures.


Sustainability & Resource Management

  • Support sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency, water conservation, and emissions reduction.
  • Promote sustainable construction practices across project activities.
  • Assist in tracking environmental performance indicators and sustainability KPIs.
  • Support implementation of green building and airport sustainability standards.


Stakeholder & Authority Coordination

  • Liaise with environmental regulators, airport authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Support environmental permitting and compliance reporting processes.
  • Participate in environmental coordination meetings and audits.
  • Address environmental concerns raised by stakeholders and authorities.


Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare environmental monitoring reports and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain records of environmental inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
  • Support preparation of monthly and quarterly environmental performance reports.
  • Document environmental non-conformances and follow-up actions.


Incident Management & Corrective Actions

  • Investigate environmental incidents and non-compliance events.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure timely closure of environmental issues.
  • Promote continuous improvement in environmental performance.


Training & Awareness

  • Conduct environmental awareness sessions for site personnel and contractors.
  • Support induction training programs covering environmental requirements.
  • Promote environmental responsibility across all project teams.
  • Encourage sustainable behavior and compliance culture.


What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Environmental Management is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental management within infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Experience on airport, transportation, or large-scale civil engineering projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance in construction environments.
  • Understanding of environmental regulations, EIA processes, and EMP implementation.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with environmental monitoring tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.


What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

  • Professional certification in environmental management (e.g., IEMA, CIWEM or equivalent).
  • Experience in GCC or international airport infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with ICAO environmental guidelines and aviation sustainability frameworks.
  • Experience in FIDIC-based project environments.
  • Knowledge of carbon accounting and ESG reporting frameworks.
