We are looking for a Senior API Platform Engineer with strong experience in API gateway platforms, API lifecycle management, security, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Apigee, Apache APISIX, and WSO2, along with strong troubleshooting and platform administration capabilities.

• Design, implement, configure, and administer API Gateway platforms including Apigee, APISIX, and WSO2.
• Manage the complete API lifecycle, including API design, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retirement.
• Troubleshoot API gateway, connectivity, performance, and integration issues.
• Implement and manage API security using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, certificates, and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Configure and maintain SSL/TLS certificates, keystores, truststores, and certificate rotation.
• Deploy and manage API gateway components in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate API platforms with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Monitor API performance, availability, traffic, errors, and security using API monitoring and observability tools.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure API services.
• Establish best practices for API governance, security, performance, and operational support.

• 7+ years of experience in API management, API platforms, or integration engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apigee, Apache APISIX, and/or WSO2.
• Strong knowledge of API Gateway implementation, administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of API lifecycle management and API governance.
• Strong expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, SSL/TLS, and certificate management.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of API monitoring, logging, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Knowledge of API observability and monitoring platforms.
• Relevant certifications in API Management, Cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps are a plus.
