شركة WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن مهندس عقود للانضمام إلى فريق الإشراف الموقعي في جدة، لدعم مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى في قطاع النقل والطرق والمرافق العامة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إدارة عقود الإنشاءات وفقًا لمتطلبات المشروع وشروط العقد المطبقة.
  • مراجعة وتقييم ومعالجة التغييرات وأوامر التغيير والمطالبات وطلبات تمديد الوقت.
  • دعم المهندس المقيم ومدير المشروع في الأمور التعاقدية والتجارية.
  • إعداد المراسلات التعاقدية والإشعارات والتوصيات والتقارير.
  • مراقبة امتثال المقاول للالتزامات التعاقدية ومخرجات المشروع.
  • مراجعة طلبات الدفع وتقديم مدخلات تعاقدية بشأن التقييمات والتوصيات.
  • حفظ سجلات الاتصالات التعاقدية والتعليمات والتغييرات في المشروع.
  • المساعدة في حل النزاعات التعاقدية ودعم تقييم المطالبات.
  • تحديد المخاطر التجارية والتعاقدية واقتراح تدابير التخفيف.
  • التنسيق مع فرق مراقبة المشروع ومسح الكميات والإشراف لضمان الاتساق في الإدارة التجارية.
  • تقديم دعم إدارة العقود طوال مرحلتي الإنشاء والإغلاق النهائي للمشروع.
  • المشاركة في اجتماعات مع العملاء وأصحاب المصلحة والمقاولين بخصوص الأمور التعاقدية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو مسح الكميات أو إدارة الإنشاءات أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في إدارة العقود والإدارة التجارية.
  • خبرة قوية في مشاريع النقل والطرق والطرق السريعة والمرافق والبنية التحتية.
  • خبرة مثبتة في العمل لدى استشاريي الهندسة أو استشاريي الإشراف في مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى.
  • خبرة واسعة داخل المملكة العربية السعودية، ويفضل أن تكون في مشاريع بجدة أو الرياض أو غيرها من المدن الكبرى.
  • معرفة قوية بعقود الفيديك (FIDIC) وأشكال العقود الأخرى المعترف بها دوليًا.
  • خبرة في إدارة التغييرات والمطالبات والتغييرات وتقييمات تمديد الوقت.
  • مهارات ممتازة في كتابة التقارير والتفاوض والتواصل.
  • القدرة على العمل بفعالية ضمن فرق الإشراف الموقعي متعددة التخصصات.
  • الشهادات المهنية والعضوية في المؤسسات المهنية ذات الصلة تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
  • لن يتم اعتبار المرشحين ذوي الخلفية السائدة في تشييد المباني أو أعمال المقاولين فقط أو أدوار التصميم الاستشارية أو خبرة إدارة العقود المكتبية/المركزية مناسبين.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Engineer to join our Site Supervision team in Jeddah, supporting major transport, road, and infrastructure utilities projects. The role will be responsible for contract administration, commercial compliance, variation management, claims review, and contractual correspondence throughout project delivery. This is a site-based supervision role requiring strong consultant-side experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

  • Administer construction contracts in accordance with project requirements and applicable contract conditions.
  • Review, evaluate, and process variations, change orders, claims, and extension of time submissions.
  • Support the Resident Engineer and Project Director on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence, notices, recommendations, and reports.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations and project deliverables.
  • Review payment applications and provide contractual input on assessments and recommendations.
  • Maintain records of contractual communications, instructions, and project changes.
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and support claim evaluations.
  • Identify commercial and contractual risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate with project controls, quantity surveying, and supervision teams to ensure consistency in commercial management.
  • Provide contract administration support throughout construction and project closeout phases.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors regarding contractual matters.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in contract administration and commercial management.
  • Strong experience on transport, roads, highways, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working for engineering consultants or supervision consultants on major infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive experience within Saudi Arabia, preferably on projects in Jeddah, Riyadh, or other major KSA locations.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other internationally recognized contract forms.
  • Experience managing variations, claims, change management, and extension of time assessments.
  • Excellent report writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within multidisciplinary site supervision teams.
  • Professional certifications and membership of relevant professional institutions will be an advantage.
  • Candidates with predominantly building construction, contractor-only backgrounds, design consultancy design roles, or corporate/head office contract administration experience will not be considered suitable.
