نبذة عن الوظيفة
تطبيق المهارات الفيزيائية والتقنية في الممارسة الطبية للمساعدة في علاج العديد من الأمراض، وتطوير واختبار وتقييم الأجهزة والإجراءات الخاصة في قسم العلاج الإشعاعي.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- التخطيط ومناقشة خطط العلاج الإشعاعي بالتنسيق مع أطباء الأورام الإشعاعية والموظفين الآخرين.
- التعاون الوثيق مع طبيب الأورام الإشعاعية لإضافة النتائج التقنية إلى تقارير المرضى.
- تدريب وإرشاد أخصائيي الفيزياء الطبية المبتدئين وفنيي العلاج الإشعاعي على المعدات والبروتوكولات الجديدة لتحقيق أفضل ممارسة متاحة.
- تقديم المشورة للعاملين الصحيين الآخرين، بما في ذلك فنيي العلاج الإشعاعي والممرضين، حول الممارسة السريرية القياسية للعلاج الإشعاعي.
- مناقشة والتفاوض مع أطباء الأورام الإشعاعية لتحديد أفضل تقنيات العلاج الإشعاعي والتخطيط للمرضى وفقاً لأحدث الممارسات المبنية على الأدلة.
- معالجة صور المرضى المعقدة في التحقق من تخطيط العلاج الإشعاعي.
- العمل كفيزيائي المناوب؛ الاستجابة للمشكلات وتقديم المشورة والمساعدة التقنية عند الحاجة.
- البحث عن التطورات والتقنيات الجديدة في ممارسة العلاج الإشعاعي وفقاً للممارسات المبنية على الأدلة ومراجعة الممارسات المحلية الحالية.
- تقديم المشورة بشأن شراء معدات جديدة عند الحاجة والمساعدة في إجراء التغييرات اللازمة.
- تشغيل المعدات الجديدة أو ترقية المعدات المتاحة لتحقيق أفضل ممارسة حالية.
- المراقبة الدورية للمعدات لضمان استمرارية النتائج وضمان إجراء الصيانة الدورية الموصى بها بانتظام.
- تطوير سياسات تشغيل المعدات وضمان تنفيذها.
- وضع وتنفيذ سياسات وإجراءات السلامة الإشعاعية وفقاً لمعايير الرعاية والتوجيهات المحلية في قسم العلاج الإشعاعي.
- تقديم مراقبة الجودة لجميع معدات العلاج الإشعاعي.
- إجراء قياس الجرعات (Dosimeter) لأجهزة العلاج الإشعاعي.
- تثقيف المرضى وعائلاتهم حول الحالات الصحية والعلاجات والتدابير الوقائية عند الاقتضاء.
- أداء جميع المهام والواجبات بما يدعم قيم الرعاية المتمحورة حول الشخص في فقيه.
- المساهمة الفعالة في مبادرات التحسين المستمر ضمن نطاق الدور.
- الالتزام ببروتوكولات السلامة ومعالجة أي مخاوف متعلقة بالسلامة الوظيفية.
- الحفاظ على السرية التامة لجميع المعلومات الحساسة التي يتم الوصول إليها أو مواجهتها أثناء العمل.
- الامتثال لسياسات ومعايير الأمن السيبراني لحماية أنظمة فقيه، والمشاركة في التوعية والمبادرات لمنع التهديدات السيبرانية.
- الالتزام بمدونة قواعد السلوك والسياسات والمعايير الأخلاقية لشركة فقيه للرعاية الصحية.
- إكمال التعليم الإلزامي حسب المتطلبات قبل شهر واحد على الأقل من انتهاء صلاحيته.
المهارات المطلوبة
- إجادة استخدام الحاسوب.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في المجال.
- درجة البكالوريوس في الفيزياء الطبية أو ما يعادلها.
- إجادة جيدة للغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
- رخصة مزاولة المهنة من الجهة التنظيمية الصحية الإقليمية (مثل الهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية / هيئة الصحة بدبي).

Skills and Abilities:
Computer literate.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field.
Education
Bachelor of medical physics or equivalent.
Language
Good command in English and Arabic.
Licenses / Certifications
License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA).
Job Purpose:
Apply physics and technical skills to standard medical practice, to help in treatment of many kinds of diseases, develops, tests and evaluates special equipment and procedures in Radiotherapy department.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Planning and discussing radiotherapy treatment plans in discussion with radiation oncologists and other staff.
- Cooperates closely with Radiation Oncologist to add technical results to patient reports.
- Training and advising other junior medical physicists and Radiation therapy technicians on new equipment and protocols to achieve the best available practice.
- Advising other health professionals, including radiotherapy technicians, nurses about standard Radiotherapy clinical practice.
- Discusses and negotiates with Radiation Oncologists to determine the best radiotherapy techniques and planning for patients, in alignment with the latest evidence-based practices.
- Processing complex patient images in radiotherapy planning verification treatment.
- Acts as the on-call physicist, responding to problems and providing advice and technical assistance when needed.
- Researches new developments and techniques in radiotherapy practice according to evidence-based practices and reviews existing local practices.
- Advises on the procurement of new equipment when needed and helps initiate necessary changes.
- Commissioning new equipment or upgrade available equipment to achieve the best current practice.
- Monitoring equipment periodically to guarantee consistent output achieved and to ensure that regular recommended maintenance done periodically as needed.
- Develops policies for the operating equipment and ensures their implementation.
- Establishing and implementing radiation safety policies and procedures as indicated by standard of care guidelines and local authorities in radiotherapy department.
- Providing quality control to all Radiation therapy equipment.
- Performs dosimeter for radiotherapy machines.
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures if applicable.
- Performing all duties and tasks in a manner that supports Fakeeh’s Person-Centered care values.
- Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, within the scope of the role.
- Adherence to safety protocols and proactively seeking to address any job-related safety concerns.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all sensitive information accessed or encountered during work.
- Complying with cybersecurity policies and standards to protect Fakeeh’s systems and participating in awareness training and initiatives to prevent cyber threats.
- Adhering to and upholding Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct, policies and ethical standards.
- Completion of mandatory education as per the requirement, at least one month prior to expiration.
