Role Purpose:

Ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment, particularly for recycling machines and generators. Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, motor control systems, and generators to ensure continuous operation and improve production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

-Diagnose and repair electrical issues related to recycling machines, generators, and associated equipment

-Diagnose and resolve issues related to VFDs, soft starters, and motor control systems.

-Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs that control and monitor recycling machinery without programming involvement.

-Troubleshoot and maintain sensors (e.g., proximity, temperature, pressure) used in recycling machines for monitoring and control functions.

-Ensure proper integration and communication between sensors and PLCs to optimize machine performance.

-Maintain and troubleshoot generator electrical issues, including control panel wiring, voltage management, and synchronization (sync).

-Wire and configure control panels for generators, ensuring proper connections and integration with the overall electrical system.

-Preferred knowledge of DSE controllers for monitoring and controlling generator functions, including fault diagnostics, load management, synchronization, and overall performance.

-Maintain accurate records of routine checks, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on recycling machinery and generators.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in electrical technology or a related field preferred.

Experience in Years:

• Min. 3 - 6 years.
