تعلن شركة Worley، الشركة العالمية الرائدة في مجال الطاقة والكيماويات والموارد، عن توفر وظيفة "Lead Nuclear Safety & Environmental Engineer" في منطقة الشرقية، الخبر، المملكة العربية السعودية. يهدف هذا الدور إلى تقديم قيادة تقنية مستقلة وضمان الجودة نيابة عن المالك في مجالات السلامة النووية، الحماية من الإشعاع، الامتثال البيئي، والتأهب للطوارئ طوال دورة حياة المشروع.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- السلامة النووية: قيادة المراجعات المستقلة للسلامة النووية وأنشطة الضمان الفني، ومراجعة وثائق حالة السلامة (PSAR، FSAR والتحليلات الداعمة)، وضمان تطبيق مبادئ الدفاع في العمق و ALARA، ودعم نظام إدارة السلامة النووية للمالك وتعزيز ثقافة السلامة النووية القوية.
- البيئة والحماية من الإشعاع: مراجعة تقييمات الأثر البيئي وبرامج الامتثال البيئي، والإشراف على استراتيجيات الحماية من الإشعاع والرصد البيئي وإدارة النفايات المشعة وتحسين الجرعة المهنية، وضمان الامتثال للوائح البيئية والحماية من الإشعاع.
- التأهب للطوارئ: قيادة تطوير ومراجعة برامج التأهب والاستجابة للطوارئ، ومراجعة إجراءات الطوارئ وإرشادات إدارة الحوادث الشديدة وتمارين الطوارئ، والتنسيق مع منظمات الاستجابة الوطنية والجهات المعنية.
- الضمان التنظيمي والمالك: دعم التراخيص النووية والتقديمات التنظيمية، والتواصل مع الهيئة التنظيمية النووية والمنظمات الدولية (بما في ذلك الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية)، ومراجعة مخرجات المقاول (EPC) بشكل مستقل وتحديد المخاطر الفنية وتقديم التوصيات للمالك، والمشاركة في مراجعات التصميم ودراسات HAZOP وتقييمات السلامة الاحتمالية (PSA) ومراجعات التشغيل وجاهزية التشغيل.
- البناء والتشغيل: تقديم الإشراف على السلامة النووية والبيئة أثناء البناء والتشغيل، ومراجعة إجراءات التشغيل ومشاهدة الاختبارات الحرجة للسلامة، والتحقق من الجاهزية التشغيلية قبل تحميل الوقود.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة النووية أو الهندسة البيئية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في الصناعة النووية.
- خبرة في السلامة النووية أو الحماية من الإشعاع أو التأهب للطوارئ أو الإدارة البيئية أو الامتثال التنظيمي.
- معرفة قوية بمعايير السلامة الصادرة عن الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية (IAEA) واللوائح النووية الدولية.
- مهارات ممتازة في إدارة أصحاب المصلحة والتواصل.

Position Purpose
Provide independent technical leadership and assurance on behalf of the Owner for nuclear safety, radiation protection, environmental compliance, and emergency preparedness throughout the project lifecycle, from site selection and licensing through design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements, IAEA Safety Standards, international best practices, and the Owner's Nuclear Safety Policy while independently reviewing and challenging EPC Contractor deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Nuclear Safety
- Lead independent nuclear safety reviews and technical assurance activities.
- Review safety case documentation (PSAR, FSAR and supporting analyses).
- Ensure implementation of defence-in-depth and ALARA principles.
- Support the Owner's Nuclear Safety Management System and promote a strong nuclear safety culture.
- Review Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental compliance programmes.
- Oversee radiation protection strategies, environmental monitoring, radioactive waste management, and occupational dose optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental and radiation protection regulations.
- Lead development and review of emergency preparedness and response programmes.
- Review emergency procedures, severe accident management guidance, and emergency exercises.
- Coordinate with national emergency response organisations and relevant authorities.
- Support nuclear licensing and regulatory submissions.
- Interface with the nuclear regulator and international organisations, including the IAEA.
- Independently review EPC Contractor deliverables, identify technical risks, and provide recommendations to the Owner.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSA), commissioning reviews, and operational readiness assessments.
- Provide nuclear safety and environmental oversight during construction and commissioning.
- Review commissioning procedures, witness safety-critical testing, and verify operational readiness before fuel loading.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the nuclear industry.
- Experience in nuclear safety, radiation protection, emergency preparedness, environmental management, or regulatory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of IAEA Safety Standards and international nuclear regulations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Licensed Radiation Protection Officer or Nuclear Reactor Operator.
- Experience supporting commercial nuclear power programmes or Owner's Engineer assignments.
