تعلن شركة Worley، إحدى الشركات العالمية الرائدة في خدمات الطاقة والكيماويات والموارد، عن توفر وظيفة كبير مهندسين بحريين - خبير موضوعي (Principal Marine Engineer - SME) في المملكة العربية السعودية.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
- تصميم وإشراف وجدولة أنشطة هندسة الموانئ والبحرية للمشاريع البحرية.
- الإدارة الفنية والتجارية لجميع عناصر هندسة الموانئ والبحرية في المشاريع المنفذة.
- إدارة جميع مهندسي المنشآت البحرية، وتقديم الإرشاد الفني والمهني لتطوير مساراتهم الوظيفية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- إدارة المشاريع من التخطيط والجدوى والتصميم وحتى التنفيذ، بما في ذلك إعداد مقترحات المشاريع وموازناتها (يشمل تقديرات ميزانية CTR).
- إعداد الخطط الاستراتيجية والتسويقية وخطط تطوير الأعمال لوضع مشاريع الموانئ والمنشآت البحرية في أفريقيا أو حسب الفرص المتاحة.
- المسؤولية عن التنفيذ التجاري والفني وتسليم مشاريع المنشآت البحرية الإقليمية، بما في ذلك إعداد الموازنة السنوية وتحقيق الربحية.
- دعم المدير في تطوير المجموعة الجديدة وتحقيق النمو المستدام لها.
- بناء علاقات مع كبار عملاء الموانئ في المنطقة.
- إعداد تقارير الجدوى ومعايير التصميم لأعمال الهندسة البحرية مثل حوائط الأرصفة (quaywalls) والأرصفة البحرية (jetties) وحواجز الأمواج (breakwaters) وغيرها.
- تحديد متطلبات تطوير التقنيات والتدريب، والمشاركة في المؤتمرات الدولية.
- التعاون مع فرق تخطيط الموانئ والمنشآت البحرية عالمياً ومع مجموعات المشاريع الأخرى لوضع ومراقبة الأهداف الاستراتيجية المتعلقة بالتقنيات، خاصة برامج النمذجة الساحلية ومصادر البيانات.
- تقديم التدريب والتوجيه والإشراف الفعال للموظفين المعنيين.
- ضمان تدفق الاتصالات الشفهية والمكتوبة داخل مجموعة هندسة الموانئ والمنشآت البحرية ومع التخصصات الهندسية الأخرى.
- المساعدة في صيانة التخزين وقوائم جميع المعايير الخاصة بهندسة الموانئ والمنشآت البحرية المخزنة على شبكة الحاسوب.
- تنسيق أنشطة التصميم الهندسي للموانئ والمنشآت البحرية مع مجموعات التصميم والهندسة الأخرى.
- تمثيل مجال الهندسة البحرية في الاجتماعات مع الموردين والمقاولين من الباطن والمرخص لهم والعملاء والتخصصات الأخرى في الشركة، وإعداد الوثائق اللازمة لملاحظات الاجتماعات.
- إعداد المواد التسويقية وبناء علاقات العملاء.
- السفر لغرض العمل حسب الحاجة.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- خبرة لا تقل عن 20 عاماً في جميع جوانب الهندسة البحرية، تشمل جميع مراحل التصميم (Pre-Feed، Feed، والتصميم التفصيلي)، بما في ذلك تصميم المحطات والمنشآت البحرية.
- خبرة في تخطيط الموانئ وعملياتها تعتبر ميزة.
- خبرة كبيرة في تصميم مآخذ المياه، المصبات، الأرصفة، الجسور الاقترابية، الدلافين (Dolphins)، الأرصفة البحرية وحوائط الأرصفة، مع خبرة أساسية في الخوازيق (piling).
- خبرة في التجريف والاستصلاح (Dredging & reclamation) تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Primary Objective
Designs, assigns, supervises, and schedules Ports & Marine Engineering activities for Marine projects. Technical and business management of all ports & marine engineering elements of projects executed. Management of all marine structural engineers within, and technical and career development mentoring of all ports and marine structures engineers within.
Specific Accountabilities
- Project management of planning, feasibility, design and implementation projects, including development of project proposals and project budgets (includes CTR estimate build ups).
- Preparation of strategic, marketing and business development plans for the positioning and winning of Ports and Marine Structures business across Africa, or elsewhere as opportunities arise.
- Responsibility for the commercial and technical execution and delivery of regional Marine Structures projects, including annual budgeting and profitability.
- Support the Manager in the development and sustainable growth of the new group.
- Responsibility for building of relationships with key regional Port clients.
- Preparation of feasibility and design criteria reports for marine structures engineering works such as quaywalls, jetties, breakwaters, etc.
- Identify technology development and training requirements, including participation at international conferences.
- Co-operate with the Port Planning and Marine Structures Teams globally and other project groups and personnel to set and monitor strategic objectives regarding technologies, in particular coastal modelling software and data sources.
- Input to coaching, teaching, mentoring and effective supervision of assigned personnel.
- Ensures communication flow, both verbal and written, is maintained within the Ports & Marine Structural Engineering group and with other engineering disciplines.
- Assists with the upkeep of storage and listing of all Ports & Marine Structural Engineering specific standards stored on the computer network.
- Coordinates Ports & Marine Structural Engineering design activities with other design and engineering groups.
- Represents the Marine Structural Engineering area in meetings with suppliers, subcontractors, licensors, clients, and other Company disciplines, and produces documentation required for conference or meeting notes.
- Prepare marketing material and building client relationships.
- Business travel as required.
- 20 years plus relevant experience in all facets of maritime engineering, all design stages (Pre Feed, Feed, and detailed design), including design of marine terminals and structures.
- Experience in port planning and operations is desirable.
- Significant experience in design of Intake, outfall, berths, approach trestles, Dolphins, jetties and quay walls. Experience in piling is essential.
- Dredging & reclamation experience would be an asset.
- Experience with various maritime and structural engineering-related software tools.
- Expert knowledge of maritime design standards including BS, Eurocodes, ACI, PIANC, ASCE.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in preparing proposals and delivering presentations.
- Strong management skills, particularly as regards large and/or complex projects related to marine.
- Team leadership and junior engineer/designer mentoring and coaching experience.
- Extensive experience with: Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MS Project and/or other scheduling products.
- Financial management of projects and resources, including budgeting.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or Maritime Engineering, and is registered or be eligible for registration with professional engineering association(s).
- A Masters degree in Maritime Engineering is desirable.
