Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Airborne Radar Specialist to support training and maintenance operations within a Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) E3 AWACS Squadron in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in AN/TPY-2 radars and associated systems, strong computer and systems operation skills, and capable of working collaboratively with all RSAF military ranks from senior officers to junior technicians.
**This position is located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (International Assignment) **NO REMOTE WORK**
What You'll Be Doing
- Support RSAF Technicians maintenance, troubleshooting and training working on the E3 AWACS radar platform
- Determines the scope of work and schedules for technical aspects of the contract and monitors progress. Interfaces with Technical personnel to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance requirement on the radar system.
- Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable. Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned technical personnel and makes reassignments as project needs arise.
- Monitors productivity and proficiency of assigned personnel
- Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines. Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Program/Project Manager
- Prepares technical reports, project manuals, and documentation of activity for the client and program/project management.
- Adheres to scope and direction of contract specifications per Program Manager directions
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Engineering degree or Technical Degree (Required)
- 10+ years related field engineering experience or broad general engineering background supporting E3 AWACS Radar system
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems
- Ability to follow directions and program objectives with high attention to detail
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering solutions
- Excellent communication and coordination skills; ability to work as part of a team during dynamic operations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
