يسر شركة Fugro (فوجرو) في الدمام، المنطقة الشرقية، أن تعلن عن توفر وظيفة مهندس جيوتقني (Geotechnical Engineer) للانضمام إلى فريقها.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تقديم الخدمات وفقاً للممارسات القياسية لتلبية طلب العميل ومواصفات العقد.
- فهم جيد لجميع الأساليب الجيوتقنية وممارسات التصميم وإجراءات Fugro للتحليل الهندسي وإعداد التقارير.
- دراسة وفهم متطلبات المشاريع، وتنظيم وتنفيذ التقنيات المناسبة لتطوير التقارير الهندسية بالتشاور مع كبار المهندسين والجيولوجيين ومدير الهندسة.
- المساعدة في التخطيط، وإعداد بيانات الطرق وخطط الجودة للتحقيقات الميدانية، والإشراف على الموظفين في الميدان والمكتب على أساس المشروع حسب توجيهات المهندس الأول.
- متابعة المشروع والتنسيق مع مدير المشروع أو مهندس الموقع لضمان استيفاء جميع المتطلبات الهندسية أثناء العمل الميداني، واستكمال جميع الاختبارات الميدانية وجمع العينات وفقاً لمتطلبات المشروع.
- المسؤول عن إدارة البيانات من الموقع وداخل المختبر والمكتب لضمان تقديم جميع البيانات التي تم جمعها بالتنسيقات الصحيحة؛ ومراجعة جميع سجلات آبار الاختبار وبيانات الاختبار الميدانية والمخبرية وجداولها وبرنامج المختبر ليتوافق مع القوانين والممارسات، والحصول على موافقة العميل.
- مناقشة هيكل التقرير مع كبار المهندسين ومع العميل، وإعداد تقارير الهندسة الواقعية والتفسيرية. تطوير معاملات التربة الأساسية، وتقييم التصميم، والتحليلات الهندسية، وإعداد التقرير النهائي للموافقة. مراجعة وفحص تقارير وتحليلات هندسية للآخرين كمراجع نظير.
- مراقبة جودة الأعمال أثناء المشروع. إبلاغ كبار المهندسين ومدير الهندسة لاتخاذ إجراء تصحيحي فوري ومخاطبة أعضاء فريق المشروع في حالة وجود انحراف.
- تقديم الدعم لكبار المهندسين وكبار الجيولوجيين الهندسيين للحصول على موافقة العميل على التقارير النهائية.
- العمل كمدير منتج لمنتجات Fugro المختارة، وبالتالي اكتساب الخبرة من خلال الأدبيات و/أو الدراسات. الاستفادة من بوابات التعلم في Fugro لتطوير ومشاركة المعرفة.
- التحديث المستمر والمساهمة الفعلية في تنفيذ إجراءات ضمان الجودة والصحة والسلامة والبيئة المنشورة في مكان العمل.
- التنسيق مع الإدارة التجارية لأي مسائل تعاقدية / تجارية.
- المسؤوليات المتعلقة بـ QHSSE: ضمان فهم وتنفيذ والالتزام بسياسات وإجراءات Fugro من قبل جميع الموظفين. العمل وفقاً لإجراءات Fugro لتحقيق نتائج متسقة ومستدامة، مع إمكانية اتخاذ إجراءات تأديبية في حال عدم الامتثال.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية. الماجستير في الهندسة الجيوتقنية يُعد ميزة إضافية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في الهندسة المدنية والهندسة الجيوتقنية. خبرة عملية في إعداد التقارير الهندسية الجيوتقنية وتصميم الأساسات، وفهم البيانات الميدانية واشتقاق المعاملات الهندسية، وإجراء التحليلات الهندسية المطلوبة وإعداد التقارير وفقاً للممارسات المقبولة ومتطلبات المشروع.
- طلاقة في اللغة الإنجليزية، مع مهارات ممتازة في كتابة التقارير ومهارات التواصل.
- الحرص على مواكبة الموارد التقنية الجديدة والتطورات الجيوتقنية.
المهارات المطلوبة
- القدرة على حل المشكلات / اتخاذ الأحكام: الملاحظة والتفكير النقدي وحل المشكلات باستخدام البيانات والتحليل والتفسير ومهارات الاستدلال.
- الالتزام والقدرة على العمل بنجاح مع الآخرين ضمن فريق.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide service in accordance with standard practices to meet client’s request and contract specifications.
- Good understanding of all geotechnical methods and design practices and Fugro procedures for engineering analysis and reporting
- Study and understand projects requirements, organise and implement appropriate techniques as needed to develop engineering reports in consultation with Senior Engineers and Geologists and Engineering Manager.
- Assists in the planning, prepare method statements and quality plans for field investigations and supervise personnel in the field and office on project basis as instructed by Senior Engineer.
- Follow up on a project and liaise with project manager or site engineer to ensure all engineering requirements are met with during field work and all field tests and sample collection are completed in accordance with project requirements.
- Responsible for the data management from site and within the laboratory and office to ensure that all data collected are reported in correct formats; check all borehole logs and the field and lab test data and schedules and laboratory program to be in accordance with codes and practices, and obtain approval from client.
- Discuss the report structure with Senior Engineers and also with client and prepare Factual and Interpretative Engineering Report. Develop foundation soil parameters, design assessment, engineering analyses and prepare final report for approval. Review and check report and engineering analyses of others as peer reviewer.
- Control quality of works during a project. Inform Senior Engineers and Engineering Manager to take immediate corrective action and address to project team members in case of deviation.
- Provide support to Senior Engineer and Senior Engineering Geologists to obtain approval from client for final reports.
- Product Manager for selected Fugro products and thereby gaining expertise through literature and/or studies. Utilise Fugro learning portals to develop and share knowledge.
- Updated and actively contribute to implementation of published Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures in the work place.
- Liaise with Commercial Department for any contractual / commercial issues
- Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all employees.
- Employees are expected to work in accordance with Fugro Procedures, in order to achieve consistent and sustainable results. Non-conformance with the processes and procedures may result in disciplinary measures being taken.
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering. Master in Geotechnical Engineering will be added advantage.
- At least 5 years’ experience Civil and Geotechnical Engineering. Hands on experience in preparation of geotechnical engineering reports and foundation designs, understanding field data and derivation of engineering parameters and performing required engineering analysis and reporting in accordance with accepted practices and project requirements.
- Fluent in English, with excellent report writing skills and communication skills.
- Keep updated on new technical resources and geotechnical advance.
- Problem-solving/judgment ability to observe, think critically and to solve problems using data, analysis, interpretation, and reasoning skills.
