Job Summary

The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for managing and supervising civil and structural construction activities on-site, ensuring all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Experience

8 - 12 years of experience in civil engineering and construction project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all civil and structural construction works on-site.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure proper implementation.
• Oversee excavation, foundation, concrete, structural, and civil finishing works.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project materials, equipment, and resource requirements.
• Review inspection requests and ensure required testing and quality control activities are completed.
• Assist in project planning and monitor progress against project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions to improve project performance and construction efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Strong technical reporting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
