Role Description The Odoo Technical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for leading the technical design, development, customization, and integration of Odoo modules to meet business requirements. The Odoo Technical Lead will oversee the technical team, assign tasks, review code, and ensure delivery of high-quality, maintainable solutions. Daily responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, translating functional needs into technical specifications, configuring and extending Odoo, and integrating Odoo with external systems and APIs. The role also involves troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing performance, maintaining documentation and version control, and collaborating closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure successful project implementation and support.

Qualifications

• +8 years of technical oddo experience
• Strong proficiency in Odoo development, including customization of existing modules and creation of new modules, and solid understanding of Odoo architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming and related frameworks commonly used for Odoo development.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization.
• Experience with front-end technologies in the Odoo ecosystem, such as XML, JavaScript, and QWeb templates.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage task allocation, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Experience integrating Odoo with third-party applications and services using APIs, web services, or middleware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience as an Odoo Technical Lead or Senior Odoo Developer in an enterprise environment is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of business processes in domains such as finance, inventory, sales, and HR, and how they map to Odoo modules.
