نبذة عن الوظيفة
يتولى شاغل هذه الوظيفة مسؤولية تصميم وإدارة خدمات البنية التحتية التشغيلية. يشترط امتلاك القدرة على إدارة إصدارات متعددة من Linux وAIX ومنصات الحاويات. يقوم مهندس Linux بإدارة ودعم بيئات Linux الحيوية التي تعمل على منصات مادية وافتراضية وهجينة، ويشمل دوره إدارة دورة الحياة وضبط الأداء وأتمتة العمليات المرتبطة بنظام التشغيل لضمان الثبات والتوفر العالي، مع التركيز على الأتمتة والإجراءات الأمنية والتحسين المستمر للنظام.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تصميم وإدارة أنظمة Linux (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE) للبنية التحتية الحيوية.
- تصميم وإدارة خوادم AIX في بنية pSeries، بما في ذلك LPARs وVIO servers وبيئات PowerVM.
- أتمتة نشر أنظمة التشغيل والتحديثات والتكوين باستخدام Ansible وSaltStack.
- دمج أنظمة Unix مع أدوات التحكم الأمني والمراقبة لضمان الامتثال لمعايير الأمان.
- تحليل اختناقات الأداء وتقديم حلول دائمة عبر تحليل السبب الجذري لأنظمة Linux/AIX.
- التعاون في جاهزية التعافي من الكوارث والمشاركة في اختبار التوفر العالي.
- تقديم الدعم الفني في خدمات البنية التحتية والاستجابة للمشكلات والمساهمة في المهام.
- المساهمة في تنفيذ مشاريع ومهام البنية التحتية.
- دعم تطوير وثائق البنية التحتية، بما في ذلك سجلات الحوادث وسجلات التكوين.
- تطبيق المعرفة التقنية لمعالجة التحديات المتعلقة ببنية Linux/AIX التحتية.
- اتباع أفضل الممارسات والمعايير المتبعة في تقديم خدمات البنية التحتية.
- استخدام المهارات التقنية لمعالجة مشكلات وحوادث البنية التحتية.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في مجال ذي صلة أو ما يعادله من مزيج من التعليم والخبرة.
- خبرة عمل لا تقل عن 6 سنوات في المجال، مع خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في دور مماثل.
- خبرة مثبتة في تحليل تكنولوجيا البنية التحتية.
- إجادة تحليل البيانات والمعرفة التقنية.
- متعلّم مستمر يواكب المعرفة والتكنولوجيا في المجال.
- يفضل وجود درجة متقدمة في مجال ذي صلة.
- يفضل الحصول على شهادات مهنية ذات صلة مثل شهادات Linux/AIX.
المهارات المطلوبة
- معرفة متقدمة في مكونات نظام Linux الداخلية وضبط النواة (kernel tuning).
- خبرة في نظام AIX OS وPowerHA وPowerVM وNIM وخوادم VIO.
- خبرة في المحاكاة الافتراضية (KVM, VMware) والبنية التحتية الهجينة.
- معرفة بمعايير CIS hardening وإعادة توجيه السجلات وتكامل SIEM، وإتقان معايير الامتثال الأمني وتدقيق مستوى النظام.
- خبرة في استخدام Ansible أو Puppet أو أدوات أتمتة مماثلة.
- خبرة في إعداد أداة الإدارة المركزية لنظام Linux (RedHat Satellite/SUSE Manager) وإدارة التحديثات.
- معرفة جيدة ببيئات تكنولوجيا المعلومات الهجينة.

Job Description
In this Job Family, Responsible for architecting and leading operations infrastructure services. Individuals in these positions possess the capability to manage various versions of Linux, AIX, and Container Platforms. The Linux Engineer is tasked with leading administration, and support of mission-critical Linux environments hosted on physical, virtual, and hybrid platforms.
This role encompasses lifecycle management, performance tuning, and automation of operating system-related processes to ensure stability and high availability. Key focus areas include automation, security measures, and continuous system optimization.

Responsibilities
- Architect and manage Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, SUSE) for critical infrastructure
- Design and manage AIX server in pSeries architecture, including LPARs, VIO servers, and PowerVM environments
- Automate OS deployments, patching, and configuration using Ansible and SaltStack.
- Integrate Unix systems with security controls and monitoring tools to ensure system compliance to Security standard
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide permanent fixes via root cause analysis of Linux/AIX systems
- Collaborate on DR readiness and participate in high-availability testing
- Provide technical support in infrastructure services, responding to issues and assisting in tasks
- Contribute to the implementation of infrastructure projects and assignments
- Support the development of infrastructure documentation, including incident logs and configuration records
- Apply technical knowledge to address Linux/AIX infrastructure-related challenges
- Follow established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery
- Utilize technical skills to address infrastructure issues and incidents
- Advanced knowledge of Linux OS internals and kernel tuning
- Expertise in AIX OS, PowerHA, PowerVM, NIM, and VIO servers
- Experience with virtualization (KVM, VMware) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Awareness of CIS hardening, log forwarding, and SIEM integration and Proficient in security compliance standards and OS-level auditing
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet or similar automation tools.
- Experience in setting up Linux Centralized management tool (RedHat Satellite/SUSE Manager) and patch management
- Good knowledge of hybrid IT environments
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
- Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
- Proficiencies in data analysis and technical knowledge
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Relevant certifications, such as Linux / AIX Certifications
