تفاصيل الوظيفة

تعلن مجموعة إنتركونتيننتال للفنادق (IHG) عن وظيفة مساعد مدير الغسيل والبياضات (Assistant Manager Laundry & Linen) في المملكة العربية السعودية. نبحث عن شخص يتمتع بعين ثاقبة للتفاصيل وشغف بالكمال لضمان غسل وتجفيف وكي جميع المفروشات وملابس الضيوف وفق معاييرنا الاستثنائية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • فرز الغسيل حسب اللون والخامة ودرجة الاتساخ.
  • فحص جميع الغسيل والبياضات بحثاً عن التلف أو البقع، وتسجيل أي قطع لا تستوفي المعايير.
  • تشغيل الغسالات والمجففات وفق السعة الموصى بها وإرشادات الشركة المصنعة.
  • إضافة المواد الكيميائية الصحيحة بالكميات المناسبة لكل دورة غسيل.
  • طي وتخزين البياضات النظيفة، وتشغيل آلات تغذية البياضات وطي الملاءات والمناشف وكي مفارش الطاولات.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • يتطلب هذا الدور جهداً بدنياً، حيث ستعمل واقفاً معظم اليوم.
  • القدرة على حمل أو رفع أوزان تصل إلى 75 رطلاً (حوالي 34 كجم) ودفع/سحب حوالي 400 رطل (حوالي 181 كجم).
  • قد تحتاج إلى الانحناء أو الركوع لإكمال بعض الأنشطة.
  • العمل بشكل متكرر في مناطق ذات درجات حرارة عالية بجانب معدات ثقيلة.
  • مهارات القراءة والكتابة والحساب الأساسية لتحديد كميات المواد الكيميائية اللازمة لمعالجة الغسيل والبقع وتسجيل الأوزان المناسبة.

We take laundry seriously. So, we’re searching for a Laundry Attendant with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every single linen and guest item is washed, dried, and folded to meet our exceptional standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Sorting laundry by colour, material, and level of soiling
● Inspecting all laundry and linen for damage or stains - keeping a record of any items that don’t make the grade
● Operating washers and dryers to their recommended capacity and manufacturer guidelines
● Adding the correct chemicals in the right quantities for each wash cycle
● Folding and storing clean linen - operating the linen feeder, sheet folder, towel folder and table linen ironing machines

What We need from you:
● It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important 
● Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 400 pounds
● You may need to bend, stoop, and kneel to complete some activities
● Frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment
● Reading and writing abilities and basic math skills are utilized when determining amounts of chemicals to treat laundry and stains and logging appropriate poundage.
● Outstanding organizational and time management skills
