Responsibilities

·      Review/evaluate technical documents including project design drawings, equipment specifications; technical bid, vendor data/ information and offers.

·      Promptly respond to incoming correspondences.

·      Assist in monitoring the day-to-day operation of gas distribution and handling emergency situations according to pre-established company procedures.

·      Perform the required tasks concerning Operation and Maintenance of the facilities in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

·      Prepare/update the schedule & execute Routine Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance activities.

·      Attend the design progress review and technical meetings, as required.

·      Perform all other tasks assigned to him.

Qualifications

·      Must have a degree in BS. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering

·      Min. of 12 years relevant industrial experience in oil & gas industry, preferably natural gas pipeline distribution projects and operation/maintenance.

·      Design experience is required.

·      Familiarity with international industry standards, knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards & procedures will be a consideration.

·      Knowledge in the review of technical documents including project design drawings, equipment specifications, evaluates vendor data/information and offers.

·      Capability to install, maintain & troubleshoot Gas Metering System, SCADA, Gas Leak Detection & Gas Pipe Projects is an added advantage.  

·      Computer literacy is a mandatory requirement

·      English language proficiency, both written and oral is a must

·      Well experienced in drafting technical letters.

• ·      Experience in the field of Oil and Gas Distribution Company in the GCC countries especially in Saudi Arabia would be a plus.
