Senior ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Engineer to drive the design, integration, and commissioning of advanced automation systems for a major infrastructure project in
Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses heavily on Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) networks and Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring seamless, smart, and energy-efficient operations across the development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Systems Integration: Review, approve, and oversee the integration of complex SCADA and BMS architectures, ensuring seamless communication between HVAC, lighting, power, fire, and security systems.
- Technical Oversight: Evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and sequence of operations for compliance with project specifications and international automation standards.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead the witness testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site acceptance testing (SAT) for all SCADA software, PLC panels, and BMS field devices.
- Vendor & Material Review: Conduct technical evaluations for procurement of controllers, sensors, network switches, and software platforms to ensure top-tier system reliability and security.
- Interface Management: Coordinate closely with mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and ICT teams to resolve data integration bottlenecks and ensure protocol compatibility (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of dedicated engineering experience in ELV systems, with a strong, proven track record specifically in SCADA and BMS implementation.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation/Instrumentation, or a closely related field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, Profibus), PLC/RTU programming concepts, and graphic user interface (GUI) configuration. Certified training in major platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Rockwell) is highly valued.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Location/Adaptability: Must be willing to relocate to and work full-time in the Tabuk region. Direct experience on Saudi Arabian giga-projects (such as NEOM, The Line, or Red Sea Global) is heavily preferred.
- Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Must have the technical clarity needed to present solutions to clients and direct multi-national contractors on-site.
