Role Summary:

The Tamheer Trainee supports the Speech & Swallowing Department in clinical and administrative activities under professional supervision, gaining practical experience in patient care, therapy preparation, documentation, and departmental coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Speech & Swallowing team in preparing for patient assessments and therapy sessions.
• Support speech-language pathologists in organizing therapy materials and treatment activities under supervision.
• Assist with patient documentation, appointment coordination, and maintaining departmental records.
• Follow patient confidentiality, infection-control procedures, and hospital safety policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and perform other assigned duties within the trainee's knowledge and abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences, or a related field, according to the employer's requirements.
• Eligibility for the Tamheer On-the-Job Training Program under applicable HRDF requirements.
