I am working with an established multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Bid / Proposal Specialist to support its growing commercial function. The consultancy has been in the market for over 25 years having designed and delivered iconic projects across multi disciplines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in bid coordination, proposal preparation, tender submissions or project coordination. You MUST be from a consultancy background to be considered for this position.

Our client is wants those who have the organisational skills, commercial awareness and technical understanding to develop into the position.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Previous experience in bid management, proposal coordination, tendering, project coordination or a related function.
• Ideally, experience working within a consultancy environment (Architecture, Engineering, PMC etc).
• Understanding of how engineering and construction consultancy projects are developed, planned and delivered.
• Ability to interpret RFPs, identify key requirements and coordinate the preparation of submissions.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Confidence communicating with technical teams, project managers and senior stakeholders.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

You do not need to have tons of experience in the industry, as the client will offer training and development to grow into the position and within the company.

You do not need to have managed the entire bid process independently. Candidates who have supported proposals, coordinated technical submissions or assisted with tender documentation will also be considered.

You will gain exposure to multidisciplinary consultancy proposals, commercial processes and bid management, with opportunities to develop their technical and commercial capabilities.
