About the role
This position exists so that the numbers our teams argue from are correct before anyone argues from them. From your first weeks you will be the person checking the client data that feeds a mandate: reconciling figures across source files, tracing where a number came from, and telling a principal plainly that a schedule does not add up. It is an entry-level role with a real share of accountability for the quality of what goes into a board paper.

Namaa Partners is a strategy advisory firm working mostly with organizations in Saudi Arabia and with companies that have significant interests there. We advise family groups and their holding companies, listed corporations, private equity portfolio companies, banks, insurers, government entities and industrial operators. The principals who scope a mandate are the ones who deliver it, and we form a view and defend it rather than presenting options for a client to choose from. Engagements often continue past the recommendation, with partners testing management plans as decisions get implemented.

What you will do

• Rebuild client data sets from source files and check them against the figures management has reported, documenting every gap you find.
• Own a reconciliation workbook through a mandate, so that any figure in a draft can be traced back to where it came from.
• Write short data notes for the project team: what the file covers, what it misses, and what the limits are on using it.
• Sit with analysts and principals to agree which numbers carry weight in a paper, and which need a caveat.
• Test a client's own reporting against its source records and set out the differences in plain language for the engagement lead.
• Keep a running log of recurring data problems across engagements so that the next scoping conversation starts from what we already know.

What we need from you

• Comfort with spreadsheets at a working level: lookups, pivots, conditional checks, and the discipline to label what each column means.
• Early-career or recent graduate background in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, engineering or a related field.
• Care with detail that survives a second reading, and the habit of checking your own work before someone else does.
• Clear written English, and Arabic for reading client documents and asking questions of client staff.
• Willingness to say when you are unsure of a figure rather than letting it pass into a draft.
• An interest in how businesses actually earn money, not only in the mechanics of a file.

What success looks like
Within six months you are the person a project team asks first when a number looks wrong. Principals stop re-checking the schedules you produce because they have learned they hold. By the end of a year you have run data quality on several mandates end to end, and your notes on a client's reporting have changed how an engagement was framed. A client should be able to open a paper a year later and still find the figure it cites.

How decisions get made
The principal who scopes a mandate decides how the work is staffed and what the analysis has to answer. On data questions you are the one who signs off before a figure enters a draft, and you raise a disagreement to the engagement lead rather than settling it quietly. That escalation path is short by design. When your judgment conflicts with a more senior view, we want to hear the reason, not the concession.

What the role offers
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, worked on a hybrid arrangement. You will sit with analysts and principals on live mandates, which means seeing how a board question gets narrowed into something that can be measured. The exposure runs across family groups, listed companies, banks and public entities, and the data problems differ sharply between them. It is a place to learn what good evidence looks like in a room where a decision is being made.

Who tends to do well here
People who write carefully do well in this seat, because a data note that a principal cannot follow is not finished. It suits someone who can sit with a messy client file and ask what a column was meant to represent, in the client's own words. Liking the fact that a number is either right or it is not helps more than most people expect. The role rewards patience with a reconciliation and a willingness to be the one who is held to it.
