About The Role
This is an entry-level project manager role for someone who wants to learn strategy advisory work from the inside of live mandates. You will carry the coordination of a piece of client work: keeping the plan honest, the documents in order, and the questions that matter in front of the principal who owns the outcome. It is a permanent, full-time position based in Riyadh, and the work is hybrid.

Our clients include family groups and their holding companies, listed corporations, private equity portfolio companies, banks and insurers, government entities, and industrial operators. The work covers corporate strategy, growth and market entry, operating model and efficiency, organization and talent, digital strategy, performance improvement, and governance and risk. Mandates are scoped by the principals who then deliver them, and the team forms a view and defends it.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain the working plan for a mandate: who owns each piece, what is due, and where a date has slipped and why.
• Prepare and clean the documents that go to a client meeting, including the pack, the supporting analysis and the note that records what was agreed.
• Sit in on client and internal sessions, then write up the decisions, the open questions and the escalations in language the client can act on.
• Gather and check the numbers behind a recommendation, from client data rooms, management accounts and public filings, and flag what does not add up.
• Coordinate with the principal on scope changes, so that additions to the mandate are agreed rather than absorbed quietly.
• Keep the firm's knowledge in order, so that research done on one mandate is findable when a similar question comes up.

What We Need From You

• A degree, and a clear interest in strategy, finance or operations work in the Kingdom.
• Writing you can stand behind: a short memo or a set of meeting notes that someone else can read and follow without asking you what you meant.
• Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets, and enough care to notice when a total does not match its parts.
• The habit of asking a question twice rather than assuming, and of telling a principal early when something has changed.
• Working fluency in Arabic and English, since client conversations and documents run in both.
• A willingness to work in Riyadh and to be in the room when a client meeting needs a second pair of hands.

What Success Looks Like
Within the first year, you have run the coordination of at least one mandate end to end, and the principal no longer has to check whether a document or a follow-up has been dealt with. A client should be able to say that the material arrived on time, that it answered the question that was actually asked, and that nothing important was left off the agenda. You should be able to explain the logic of a recommendation without reading from the slides. Colleagues should trust your notes as the record of what was decided.

How Decisions Get Made
Principals scope the work and staff it, and the principal on a mandate signs off on what leaves the firm. Your own judgment enters in the day-to-day: what order the work should be done in, which issue needs to reach the client this week, and when a plan needs to be rebuilt rather than pushed. When something is outside the agreed scope or a client asks for more than the team can carry, that goes up to the principal early rather than late. Nobody here is waiting for a title before they raise a problem.

What The Role Offers
This is a permanent, full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, worked on a hybrid basis. You will be close to the whole arc of an engagement, from scoping through to the board conversation, rather than one slice of it. The exposure is broad: family groups, listed corporations, portfolio companies, banks, government entities and industrial operators, each with its own kind of question. Entry level here means you are learning in the presence of people who do the work, and the learning comes from having actual pieces of it in your hands.

Who Tends To Do Well Here
Writers do well here, including people who would rather spend an hour getting a paragraph right than send it loose. So do people who can sit with a client's own vocabulary and an unclear problem without reaching for a template. The ones who last are usually the ones who want to be accountable for a number or a date, and who would rather raise a problem early than be seen to have it under control. Curiosity about how a Saudi business actually makes money matters more than polish at this stage.
