المهام والمسؤوليات
- الهندسة الخلفية والبنية: تصميم وبناء ونشر وصيانة أنظمة خلفية قوية، وتحمّل مسؤولية الحلول طوال دورة حياتها. واتخاذ قرارات معمارية تتعلق بحدود الخدمات وأنماط التكامل ونماذج البيانات لضمان القابلية للتوسع والموثوقية وسهولة الصيانة.
- أتمتة معالجة النزاعات على المدفوعات: تطوير قدرات أتمتة تساعد التجار على إدارة النزاعات على نطاق واسع، وتشمل الإشعارات وتتبع المواعيد النهائية وجمع الأدلة وسير عمل الرد.
- التكامل مع مزودي خدمات الدفع: توسيع تغطية إدارة النزاعات عبر شبكة الدفع الأوسع من خلال تكامل مزودي خدمات دفع إضافيين، وضمان تناسق الوظائف عبر المنصات المختلفة.
- التكامل مع منصات منع الاحتيال: التعاون مع مزودي منع الاحتيال من الجهات الخارجية، ومنهم Riskified وForter وSignifyd وSift، لبناء تجربة موحدة للمقارنة بين حلول منع الاحتيال وإدارتها والتبديل بينها.
- محرك القواعد والإشارات: تصميم وتنفيذ قدرات إدارة مخاطر أصلية، تشمل قواعد السرعة وقوائم الحظر وبصمة الجهاز والأتمتة القابلة للتهيئة، بما يمكّن التجار من إدارة الاحتيال والنزاعات بفعالية أكبر.
- التعاون بين الفرق: العمل مع مديري الهندسة ومديري المنتج وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين لترجمة تحديات التجار إلى حلول تقنية عملية، مع إعطاء الأولوية للتسليم وقيمة العميل والنتائج القابلة للقياس.

- القيادة التقنية والإرشاد: مشاركة الخبرة وإرشاد الزملاء ورفع المعايير التقنية للفريق من خلال ممارسات هندسية سليمة وقرارات معمارية مدروسة وحل المشكلات بالتعاون.
- أسس الهندسة: المساعدة في وضع أعراف الفريق وأدوات التشغيل وعمليات المناوبة وممارسات التطوير مع نمو الفريق، مع الموازنة بين التحسينات الأساسية والتسليم المتكرر وعالي الجودة للمنتج.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- خبرة مثبتة في تولي مسؤولية الأنظمة الخلفية من البداية للنهاية، من البنية والتطوير حتى النشر والمراقبة والصيانة المستمرة.
- مهارات قوية في هندسة البرمجيات وتصميم الأنظمة، مع القدرة على تصميم بنى خلفية قابلة للتوسع واتخاذ قرارات تقنية سليمة في بيئات متطورة.
- خبرة في بناء الأنظمة من الصفر وتحديد الأساليب التقنية وتحمّل مسؤولية المشكلات الغامضة دون الاعتماد على عمليات مكتملة التأسيس.
- معايير عالية لجودة الشيفرة والاختبار والموثوقية والتميز التشغيلي، خاصة عند تطوير أنظمة قد يترتب على أعطالها عواقب مالية أو تشغيلية كبيرة.
- عقلية استباقية تركز على التسليم، مع سجل في إطلاق التحسينات بشكل متكرر وجمع الملاحظات وتحويل الأفكار إلى وظائف موثوقة تخدم العملاء.
- خبرة في إرشاد المهندسين أو دعم التطوير التقني للزملاء أو المساهمة في إرساء أفضل الممارسات الهندسية.

- الخبرة في تكامل مزودي منع الاحتيال من الجهات الخارجية، أو تطوير أنظمة الأحداث المعتمدة على Webhooks، أو بناء محركات القواعد، أو العمل مع منصات التنسيق (Orchestration) مفيدة.
- الاستعداد للمساهمة في تطوير الواجهة الأمامية عند الضرورة، مع بقاء التطوير الخلفي المحور الأساسي.

Accountabilities
- Backend Engineering and Architecture: Design, build, deploy, and maintain robust backend systems, taking ownership of solutions throughout their entire lifecycle. Make architectural decisions regarding service boundaries, integration patterns, and data models to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Payment Dispute Automation: Develop automation capabilities that help merchants manage payment disputes at scale, including notifications, deadline tracking, evidence collection, and response workflows.
- Payment Service Provider Integrations: Expand dispute management coverage across the broader payment network by integrating additional payment service providers and ensuring consistent functionality across different platforms.
- Fraud Prevention Integrations: Collaborate with third-party fraud prevention providers, including Riskified, Forter, Signifyd, and Sift, to build a unified experience for comparing, managing, and switching between fraud solutions.
- Rules and Signals Engine: Design and implement native risk management capabilities, including velocity rules, blocklists, device fingerprinting, and configurable automation that enables merchants to manage fraud and disputes more effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to translate merchant challenges into practical technical solutions, prioritizing delivery, customer value, and measurable outcomes.
- Product Development: Contribute to backend development as the primary focus, while supporting dashboard frontend development when needed to deliver complete product experiences.
- Quality, Reliability, and Monitoring: Establish and maintain high engineering standards through testing, code reviews, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Ensure that critical dispute and fraud workflows operate reliably, minimizing errors that could result in financial losses for customers.
- Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Share expertise, mentor colleagues, and raise the team's technical standards through sound engineering practices, thoughtful architectural decisions, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Engineering Foundations: Help establish team conventions, operational tooling, on-call processes, and development practices as the function grows, balancing foundational improvements with frequent, high-quality product delivery.
- Proven experience owning backend systems end to end, from architecture and development through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
- Strong software engineering and system design skills, with the ability to design scalable backend architectures and make sound technical decisions in evolving environments.
- Experience building systems from scratch, defining technical approaches, and taking ownership of ambiguous problems without relying on fully established processes.
- High standards for code quality, testing, reliability, and operational excellence, particularly when developing systems where failures can have significant financial or operational consequences.
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset, with a track record of shipping improvements frequently, gathering feedback, and translating ideas into reliable customer-facing functionality.
- Experience mentoring engineers, supporting colleagues' technical development, or helping establish engineering best practices.

- Experience in payments, fraud prevention, risk management, or another technically complex domain is advantageous.
- Familiarity with card scheme rules, chargeback processes, and payment dispute workflows is a plus.
- Experience integrating third-party fraud prevention vendors, developing webhook-based event systems, building rules engines, or working with orchestration platforms is beneficial.
- Willingness to contribute to frontend development when necessary, although backend engineering remains the primary focus.
