تعلن شركة ENGIE Middle East عن وظيفة مدير توسعة الأسطول (Fleet Extension Manager) ضمن أصول الطاقة والمياه، وذلك في مدينة الرياض أو الخبر بالمملكة العربية السعودية. الوظيفة دوام كامل وعقد دائم.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
يقود شاغل الوظيفة توسعة اتفاقيات المشاريع القائمة وتطوير فرص النمو على الأصول القائمة (Brownfield)، بما يشمل زيادة الطاقة الإنتاجية، وإزالة الاختناقات، وبرامج إطالة عمر الأصول، وتجديد العقود، ومشاريع رفع الطاقة. كما يعمل مع فرق تطوير الأعمال والأصول على وضع استراتيجية شاملة لتوسعة اتفاقيات شراء الطاقة والمياه (PPAs وWPAs وIWPP) وغيرها من العقود طويلة الأجل، بهدف تحسين العائد للمساهمين على مستوى المحفظة وعلى مستوى كل أصل. يتبع الوظيفة مدير إدارة الأصول في المملكة العربية السعودية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تحديد فرص زيادة الطاقة الإنتاجية للمحطات من خلال التوسعة، وإزالة الاختناقات، ورفع القدرة، وترقية التقنيات، أو إضافة أصول جديدة.
- إعداد المفاوضات والمشاركة فيها مع المشترين، والجهات التنظيمية، والوزارات، والشركاء بشأن تجديد العقود وتوسعتها ومبادرات النمو.
- تنسيق وتنفيذ التقييمات الفنية والمالية والتجارية الداعمة لفرص التوسعة والنمو.
- تنسيق السيناريوهات والاستراتيجيات الخاصة بحالات الاستثمار ووثائق اعتماد المساهمين لمشاريع التوسعة والنمو.
- وضع استراتيجيات تحسين الأداء للأصول ذات الأرباح المنخفضة قبل الفوائد والضرائب (Low EBIT)، بما يشمل التوسعة وزيادة الطاقة وإدماج أنظمة تخزين الطاقة (BESS) ومصادر الطاقة المتجددة في المواقع القائمة.
- متابعة تواريخ انتهاء العقود القادمة ووضع خطط عمل لضمان استمرارية التشغيل والإيرادات على المدى الطويل، والاستعداد لسيناريو عدم التمديد (النقل أو الهدم).
- العمل بشكل وثيق مع شركات المشاريع وفرق التشغيل والصيانة لتحديد التحسينات التشغيلية التي تدعم تمديد العقود وضمانات الأداء.
- تنسيق إعداد مقترحات زيادة الطاقة، بما يشمل دراسات الجدوى ومتطلبات التراخيص ومناقشات العملاء والهيكلة التجارية.
- تحديد مبادرات إطالة عمر الأصول، مثل التجديدات الكبرى وبرامج إطالة عمر الدوار (Rotor) وترقية التقنيات والاستراتيجيات الأخرى التي ترفع قيمة الأصل وتمدد عمر المشروع.
- تحليل تطورات السوق والتغييرات التنظيمية (Change in Law) ومبادرات الخصخصة واتجاهات القطاع التي قد تؤثر على ربحية الأصول أو تخلق فرصاً جديدة.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة جامعية في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الكهربائية أو المالية أو ماجستير إدارة أعمال (MBA) أو ما يعادلها.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية إلزامية.
- إجادة اللغة العربية ميزة إضافية.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عاماً في منصب قيادي في قطاع الطاقة أو الكهرباء.
- مهارات إدارية ثابتة.
- يفضّل وجود خبرة في محطات توليد الكهرباء بالدورة المركبة (Combined Cycle) ومحطات تحلية المياه.

Objective:
Lead the extension of existing project agreements and the development of brownfield growth opportunities, including capacity expansion, debottlenecking, life extension programs, contract renewals, and augmentation/increase capacity projects across the asset portfolio.
- In cooperation with Business Development and Assets teams, develop and execute a portfolio-wide strategy for extension of PPAs, WPAs, IWPP agreements and other long-term related contracts to improve shareholders economics on the portfolio and on each asset.
The Commercial Fleet Manager - Power & Water Assets - KSA reports to the Head of Asset Management - KSA.
Key Accountabilities
In cooperation with the Head of Asset Management and Business Development as required :
- Identify opportunities to increase plant production capacity through extensions, debottlenecking, uprating, technological upgrades, or new asset additions.
- Prepare and participate in negotiations with off-takers, regulators, ministries, and partners regarding contract renewals, extensions, and capacity growth initiatives.
- Coordinate and participate in technical, financial, commercial assessments supporting extension and expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate and participate in the scenarios and strategies for investment cases and shareholder approval documentation for extension and growth projects.
- Elaborate structural turnaround strategies for low EBIT assets - including extension, capacity growth, inclusion of BESS and renewables on brownfield sites
- Monitor upcoming contract expiry dates and establish action plans to secure long-term continuity of operations and revenue streams, and prepare readiness for no extension scenario (transfer, demolition).
- Work closely with Project Companies and O&M teams to identify operational improvements supporting contract extension and performance guarantees.
- Coordinate development of capacity increase proposals, including feasibility studies, permitting requirements, customer discussions, and commercial structuring.
- Identify asset life extension initiatives such as major refurbishments, rotor life extension programs, technology upgrades, and other strategies that increase asset value and extend project life.
- Analyze market developments, regulatory changes (change in law), privatization initiatives, and sector trends that could impact asset profitability or create new opportunities.
- University degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Finance, MBA or similar
- Fluency in English mandatory.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
- Management skills.
- 15+ years of experience in a senior position in the power / energy sector.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills. Strong financial background and excellent. knowledge of the energy markets.
- Must be able to work independently and being integrated in an international team.
- Preferably combined cycle power plant and desalination plant experience.
- Ability to work in a broad cultural spectrum.
