Job Title: Quality Supervisor

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Role Purpose:

Ensure the products are manufactured with full technical compliance to the internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. Participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure that the delivered products have the best quality level by leading a team within a quality dept. to execute all quality control checking and testing in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.

Solving and managing all the troubleshooting and solving issues that arise on a production floor and ensuring a safe and clean production workspace.

The supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process so he must be competent and manage complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the operational costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Quality team performance:

• Supervising and/or conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products and systems meet the specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) as applicable.
• Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering.
• Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
• Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal specifications, customer needs, and applicable national and/or global standards.
• Supervising and/or performing regular inspections on different process in production lines to ensure they comply with company quality standards.
• Providing support and guidance, when needed, to team members to ensure they perform their duties effectively and as per the guideline.
• Reviewing employee productivity and performance to ensure they meet quality targets or recommending improvements to meet targets and quality standards.
• Creating regular reports highlighting audit and inspection performance and areas/processes that require improvement.

2- Improve HSE culture on shop-floor:

• Informing the quality team of preferred occupational health and safety practices.
• Implementing relevant emergency response procedures during emergency situations.
• Regularly checking the testing and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
• Training new employees on company procedures and policies, including ethics policies and safety measures.

3- Documentation:

• Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

• 10 years of expierence in electrical quality control and testing in the switchgear industry and customer testing.
• Experience in QC processes, in-process testing, final test and FAT of switchgear.
• Documentation Skills.
• Communication Skills.
• Leadership.
• Communicating in English.
• Knowledge of IEC standards is an advantage.

Education:

Diploma degree.

Skills:

• Self-starter who can operate with little supervision.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
