يُعد الذكاء الاصطناعي للاستكشاف والتعدين ضرورياً لتحسين اكتشاف الموارد وفهم الخامات والسلامة والتخطيط والإنتاجية والكفاءة والاستدامة في عمليات معادن التعدينية. ويترجم المدير التحديات التشغيلية إلى حلول ذكاء اصطناعي قابلة للتوسع، ويعمل مع فرق الاستكشاف والعمليات والخدمات الفنية والهندسة وتقنية التشغيل وتقنية المعلومات والتحول الرقمي والذكاء الاصطناعي المؤسسي لتحقيق قيمة ملموسة ومستدامة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- تطوير محفظة ذات أولويات لحالات استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي في الاستكشاف والتعدين وصيانتها، بما يتوافق مع استراتيجية الأعمال وأولويات المواقع وأهداف الأداء التشغيلي
- تقييم الفرص بناءً على القيمة للأعمال والجدوى التقنية وجاهزية البيانات وقابلية التوسع والمخاطر التشغيلية ومتطلبات التبني
- تحديد أهداف حالات الاستخدام وخرائط التنفيذ والموارد المطلوبة والفوائد ومقاييس النجاح

- تنسيق تكامل حلول الذكاء الاصطناعي مع منصات الجيولوجيا وأنظمة تخطيط المناجم وأنظمة إدارة الأسطول وتقنية التشغيل والمؤرخات ومنصات الأصول والتطبيقات المؤسسية والتوائم الرقمية
- العمل مع الذكاء الاصطناعي المؤسسي وفرق عمليات تعلم الآلة لاستخدام المنصات المعتمدة والمكونات القابلة لإعادة الاستخدام وخطوط النشر ومعايير دورة حياة النماذج
- مراقبة أداء النماذج المنشورة وموثوقيتها وانحرافها وتوافرها واستمرار قيمتها للأعمال

- قيادة التواصل مع المستخدمين وإدارة التغيير والتدريب ونقل المعرفة لدعم التبني الفعّال والملكية التشغيلية المستدامة
- تتبع الفوائد المحققة وإعداد تقارير الأداء مقارنةً بمقاييس السلامة والاكتشاف والتخطيط والإنتاج والإنتاجية والموثوقية والتكلفة والاستدامة
- قيادة فريق متعدد التخصصات يجمع بين الذكاء الاصطناعي وعلم البيانات والجيولوجيا وهندسة التعدين والخبرة التشغيلية، وتحديد الأولويات ومعايير التسليم وخطط التطوير لأعضائه
- بناء القدرات من خلال التدريب والمجتمعات المهنية والشراكات الخارجية ونقل المعرفة المنظم

الشروط والمتطلبات
- بكالوريوس في الذكاء الاصطناعي أو علم البيانات أو علوم الحاسب أو هندسة التعدين أو الهندسة الجيولوجية أو الجيولوجيا أو المساحة الجيومترية أو الهندسة الصناعية أو تخصص ذي صلة
- يُفضّل الحصول على درجة الماجستير
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في المجالات ذات الصلة، منها 5 سنوات على الأقل في الذكاء الاصطناعي والتحليلات المتقدمة، أو التحليلات الجيومكانية، أو تحسين التعدين، أو الأتمتة، أو التحول الرقمي، ويفضّل أن تكون في قطاع التعدين أو المعادن أو الاستكشاف أو الطاقة أو صناعات أخرى كثيفة الأصول
- خبرة في قيادة فرق متعددة التخصصات وتقديم حلول الذكاء الاصطناعي أو التحليلات المتقدمة في بيئات الاستكشاف والتعدين أو التشغيل
- خبرة مثبتة في تطوير الحلول من تحديد حالة الاستخدام حتى النشر الإنتاجي والتبني وتحقيق القيمة

What You Will Deliver
Shape the Exploration & Mining AI Portfolio
- Develop and maintain a prioritized portfolio of Exploration & Mining AI use cases aligned with business strategy, site priorities, and operational performance targets.
- Assess opportunities based on business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, scalability, operational risk, and adoption requirements.
- Define clear use-case objectives, delivery roadmaps, resource requirements, benefits, and success measures.
- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI, machine learning, optimization, computer vision, and geospatial analytics solutions for exploration and mining.
- Enable applications such as exploration targeting, geological interpretation, resource estimation support, mine planning optimization, drilling and blasting optimization, fleet productivity, ore tracking, and real-time decision support.
- Ensure solutions are production-ready, scalable, maintainable, explainable, and aligned with operational and technical requirements.
- Improve Exploration and Mining Performance
- Partner with exploration, geology, mine planning, technical services, mining operations, maintenance, and safety teams to identify and solve high-value operational challenges.
- Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve discovery targeting, orebody understanding, plan compliance, equipment utilization, cycle times, material movement, productivity, and cost performance.
- Support hazard detection, fatigue and proximity analytics, equipment health insights, and risk-informed decision-making for safer and more reliable mining operations.
- Coordinate integration of AI solutions with geoscience platforms, mine planning systems, fleet management systems, operational technology, historians, asset platforms, enterprise applications, and digital twins.
- Work with Enterprise AI and AI & ML Ops teams to use approved platforms, reusable components, deployment pipelines, monitoring capabilities, and model lifecycle standards.
- Ensure deployed models are monitored for performance, reliability, drift, availability, and continued business value.
- Embed AI outputs into exploration workflows, technical services processes, dispatch and operational practices, planning cycles, and management decision-making.
- Lead user engagement, change management, training, and knowledge transfer to support effective adoption and sustainable operational ownership.
- Track realized benefits and report performance against safety, discovery, planning, production, productivity, reliability, cost, and sustainability measures.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team combining AI, data science, geoscience, mining engineering, and operational expertise.
- Set clear priorities, delivery standards, performance expectations, and development plans for team members.
- Build capability through coaching, communities of practice, external partnerships, and structured knowledge transfer.
- Ensure Governance, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure solutions comply with safety, cybersecurity, data governance, model governance, responsible AI, quality, and operational risk requirements.
- Manage activities within approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and performance expectations.

Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, Geomatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience, (+5 of them in AI, advanced analytics), geospatial analytics, mining optimization, automation, or digital transformation, ideally within mining, metals, exploration, energy, or another asset-intensive industry.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering AI or advanced analytics solutions in exploration, mining, or operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience progressing solutions from use-case definition and development through production deployment, adoption, and value realization.
- Exploration & Mining AI strategy and portfolio management
- Machine learning, optimization, computer vision, geospatial analytics, and time-series analytics
- Data Science, Artificial intelligence, machine learning, Generative AI (GenAI), optimization, computer vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI.
